An industrial manufacturing company in the Wichita, KS area is looking for a 1st shift Facilities Technician. You will be troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and involved with PM schedules. The ideal candidate will have equipment maintenance experience within an industrial environment.

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who will be handling returned material and answer general questions regarding replacement parts’ orders and Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) status, document and process customer returns for credit or replacement, evaluations, minor repairs, validate warranty status, provisioning of basic devices per customer needs while performing warehouse duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document, Sort, Evaluate, Receipt of goods in the system and Creating factory complaints on daily basis to meet customer and company expectations.
- Responsible for validating returns based against company RMA policy.
- Responsible for researching customer queries regarding their RMAs as well as working with other teams within the organization to ensure accuracy and timely receiving of customer returns.
- Inventory movement and dispositioning of returned product based on condition.
- Providing follow-up communication regarding RMAs requests as needed.
- Test, program, configure and perform minor repairs of parts.
- Performs other duties as needed for job completion.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Three years or more working in a fast-paced customer service environment, preferably involving the return of goods and product support.

Production & Efficiency Management

- Review customer Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581, and CAD data for manufacturability

- Perform DFM analysis for heavy copper, metal-core, and high-power designs

- Work cross-functionally to ensure effective production processes and align resources to meet both customer & business demands.
- Work directly with product management to ensure sustainable production for critical products while providing guidance to drive design for manufacturing/design for automation improvements. Facilitates new product integration and manages related engineering changes.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement to ensure effective labor and materials management are engrained in everyday activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement and evaluate outcomes.
- Work directly with operational leadership to manage production requirements in alignment with business objectives & strategies and prepare monthly production reports.
- Maintain production standards to ensure accurate labor reporting and costing.
- Ensure compliance with local standards and maintains a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, supply chain or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production environment holding positions of progressive responsibility
- Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a direct management position
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels
- Strong decision-making skills and results-driven approach
- Proven analytical ability and familiarity with a KPI-driven operations environment
- Proficiency in Lean Principles a plus: Problem Solving, 5S, Flow, Standard Work, Kanban
