The Supply Chain Manager will lead global procurement and inventory stocking strategies across a diverse international footprint. Reporting to the Senior Director of Warehouse, Production, and Assembly, this role is responsible for driving inventory efficiency, reducing carrying costs, diversifying suppliers, and ensuring operational excellence. The Manager will unify regional supply chains into a cohesive, standardized global function, developing and executing replenishment strategies that reduce reliance on single-source suppliersβparticularly in Chinaβand strengthen supplier networks in key regions supporting electrical and telecommunications products. This position requires a deep understanding of global procurement, supplier management, and industry-specific challenges, including compliance requirements and supply chain risks due to Tariffs
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring procurement and replenishment strategies are aligned with demand forecasts
- Develop and execute fulfillment models and demand plans that support Sales and Project Management delivery requirements
- Manage demand variability and inventory control processes to balance service levels, cost, and inventory efficiency
- Drive planning and supply chain innovation by modernizing systems, improving replenishment processes, and leveraging ERP enhancements (SAP S4 HANA preferred)
- Lead global sourcing and procurement teams to ensure a reliable, resilient, and diversified supply of materials across all regions in Americas
- Develop and implement a global sourcing strategy that reduces reliance on singleβsource suppliersβparticularly in Chinaβfor electrical and telecommunications components
- Integrate regional operations into a standardized global supply chain structure, improving visibility, consistency, and operational efficiency across the Americas
- Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fulfillment performance, inventory turnover, cost reduction, and leadβtime improvement
- Partner crossβfunctionally with Sales, Project Management, and regional teams to ensure seamless execution across sourcing, planning, and fulfillment
- Mentor and develop a high-performance Fulfillment team capable of executing complex, global sourcing strategies.
Qualifications
- 10β12 years of progressive experience in Global Planning, Sourcing, Operations and Procurement
- Proven experience managing global supply chains for electrical and/or telecommunications products
- Bachelorβs or MBA or Masterβs in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Preferred certifications: CSCP, CPSM, CPIM; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on supplier development, cost control, and risk management
- High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S4 HANA preferred), data analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to lead global teams and execute strategic Planning initiatives needing extended hours during some weeks
Job Summary
Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems, billing inquiries, submits return merchandise authorizations, and promotes aftermarket sales. Answers telephone calls, and responds to emails, right faxes and voicemails within prescribed service levels. Documents, tracks, and provides accurate and timely follow through to customer inquiries. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership of incoming calls from the end user community and provides one call resolution for ASSA ABLOY product lines.
- Properly enters customer information, documents and verifies customer orders, billing and shipping addresses for invoicing and tracking purposes.
- Responsible for follow-up on all issues, maintains quality assurance of tickets, monitors order status and backlogs for delayed orders.
- Performs front line troubleshooting of proprietary software for product lines and tests product hardware and software applications to resolve technical inquiries.
- Assigns tickets to the proper 2nd and 3rd level support teams, sales and field technicians.
- Escalates calls to appropriate departments and senior management as needed.
- Provides input on processes and assists with the development of standard operating procedures to gain efficiencies.
- Promotes Aftermarket Sales to contribute to revenue expectations of department and company.
- Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein.
- Projects a favourable image of ASSA ABLOY Hospitality, Inc. when interfacing with the outside community.
- Rotation of on-call phone and pager for products lines after hours and weekends.
Skill Requirements and Performance Criteria:
- Excellent phone and interpersonal skills with customers, peers and management
- Must be detail oriented, possess the ability to multitask, be able to organize and prioritize tasks and follow through on commitments.
- Technical aptitude to troubleshoot and analyze hardware and software issues.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years customer service experience or Technical Support experience in a fast paced environments.
- 1 to 2 years Desktop Support or Networking knowledge is preferred.
- High School graduate/GED with some desktop and/or technical interface experience.
- Associate Degree in electronics, preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Some college level course work up to a 4 year degree is desired.
- Industry certification preferred.
Software and Technical Skills:
- Experience with MS Office - Suite, Windows Vista, Window 2003 Server and Windows XP.
- Network knowledge, preferred.
- Knowledge of Navision is a strong plus or familiarity with other ERP systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who will be handling returned material and answer general questions regarding replacement parts' orders and Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) status, document and process customer returns for credit or replacement, evaluations, minor repairs, validate warranty status, provisioning of basic devices per customer needs while performing warehouse duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document, Sort, Evaluate, Receipt of goods in the system and Creating factory complaints on daily basis to meet customer and company expectations.
- Responsible for validating returns based against company RMA policy.
- Responsible for researching customer queries regarding their RMAs as well as working with other teams within the organization to ensure accuracy and timely receiving of customer returns.
- Inventory movement and dispositioning of returned product based on condition.
- Providing follow-up communication regarding RMAs requests as needed.
- Test, program, configure and perform minor repairs of parts.
- Performs other duties as needed for job completion.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Three years or more working in a fast-paced customer service environment, preferably involving the return of goods and product support.
- Detail oriented with ability to focus on assigned task with minimal supervision and achieve completion in respected time.
- Must have good technical/mechanical aptitude
- Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 45 lbs.
- High School Graduate.
- Associates Degree in electronics is a plus.
Software and Technical Skills:
- MS-Windows and MS-Office Suite
- Experience with company management system such as SAP, AX Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent.
- Experience with customer service system such Service Now, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, peripheral devices, and networking a plus.
Preferable electronic background:
Any working experience with the following a plus:
- Digital Voltmeter use and applications
- Basic understanding of low voltage circuits and wiring diagrams
- Solder surface mount and through hole circuit boards
