What You’ll Do:
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing and administering the company's employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service. This role involves reviewing and managing benefits eligibility, maintaining benefit files and databases, and processing status changes and other employee-related updates. Benefits Administration:
- Review and manage benefits eligibility and reconcile reports between HRIS, Payroll, and vendors.
- Maintain and update employee benefit files, databases, and other records, ensuring the accuracy of benefit enrollments and corresponding payroll deductions.
- Research and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits issues, providing excellent customer service and clear communication on benefits policies and procedures.
- Process status changes, terminations, employment status changes, and new hires.
- Administer short-term and long-term disability plans, coordinating with third-party medical providers, processing benefit checks, tracking benefit payments, and managing milestone events that impact healthcare benefits.
Vendor Management:
- Maintain benefit vendor contacts and provide vendors with appropriate documentation for benefit plans.
- Process and reconcile vendor bills.
Legal Compliance:
- Administer Labor Union Contracts and ensure compliance with associated benefits.
- Process court-ordered claims.
- Administer FMLA and various other types of leaves according to federal guidelines, educating employees and managers on these guidelines.
- Administer the 401(k) plan according to plan guidelines, assisting employees with online procedures for loan requests, account rollovers, loan payments, and hardship withdrawals, and acting as a liaison between employees and the Third-Party Administrator.
- Administer the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) according to plan guidelines.
Employee Support:
- Assist in preparing materials and presenting benefit plans to employees.
- Issue annual individual summaries of benefits to employees.
- Administer the employee relocation program and provide employees with information regarding general guidelines.

401(k) Plan Administrator
The 401(k) Plan Administrator is an office-based leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, and administration of the Company’s 401(k) Plan, supporting approximately 20,000 employees nationwide. This hands-on leader ensures the effective management, regulatory compliance, and operational integrity of the plan while delivering a high level of service to participants and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The Administrator oversees all plan administration and customer service functions, including but not limited to:
- Ensuring the 401(k) Plan is operated in strict accordance with Plan Documents and maintaining all required plan documentation
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including IRS, ERISA, and DOL requirements, and overseeing the timely and accurate completion of all required reporting and filings
- Overseeing annual compliance testing, government filings (including Form 5500), and required participant notices
- Documenting, maintaining, and continuously improving administrative procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls

Reporting to the Department Administrator, the Associate Administrator provides administrative support and leadership to a single or multiple Divisions under the auspices of an MCVP Administrator and/or Division Chair.
The Associate Administrator consults, advises and assists practice management in providing leadership and direction by performing a combination of the following: financial reporting/management; budget development/monitoring; grants management/administration; physical plant maintenance/space planning; and human resources management. Human Resources Management

- Manages, supervises and directs assigned administrative/support staff to include determining staffing needs, recruitment, hiring, work assignments, performance evaluation, disciplinary/corrective action and employee training and development.
- Participates in faculty recruitment for the Department which includes developing pro-formas to assess financial/program impact of new faculty and services; recruitment, advertising, hiring and relocation of new faculty, participating in onboarding new faculty; handling and verifying contracts and agreements; working in collaboration with VCU Human Resources in the administration of the annual faculty salary process, and working with the MCVP compensation plan team; and assisting faculty and other providers in the credentialing process and professional liability verification.

- Obtains and organizes data from multiple systems and sources (MCV Physicians, and VCU Medical Center, etc.) to monitor the fiscal integrity of the Division and remains current with needed computing skills.
- Handles all computing expenditures and inventory of equipment and software.
Clinical Operations
- Collaborates with Ambulatory to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of clinical practice.
- Responsible for co-management of provider schedules working with Ambulatory to ensure appropriate clinical outpatient coverage.
- Works with division chiefs and other leadership to optimize the physician and provider practice, including both outpatient and inpatient.
- Responsible for communicating and developing plans to increase provider productivity congruent with practice plan standards.
- Develops business plans to increase outreach and grow market share.

- System Administration - This person would be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all Linux based servers. This includes monitoring the trouble ticket queue, system troubleshooting, hardware and software system changes, scripting, patching, system performance monitoring, system sizing, system integration, upgrade implementation, and hardware diagnostics.
- Application support – This person would work with application administrators to help fix and fine-tune applications and also if required guide application administrators in standard processes related to using the underlying UNIX infrastructure.
- Documentation – Maintain all system documentation.
What you need to succeed
- Unix/Linux System Administration: In-depth experience with Unix/Linux servers (especially Suse, AIX, RHEL, CentOS) for installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation tools (Ansible, etc.) to streamline deployments and manage configurations.
- Demonstrable ability to perform UNIX builds,
- Understanding of RedHat Satellite, IBM NIM, or SUSE Manager for patch management.
- Networking Knowledge: Strong grasp of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, etc.) and system connectivity for effective troubleshooting in distributed environments.
- Working knowledge of Virtual machine management (VmWare, OpenShift) TCP/IP functionality, networking, Remote administration, cloning, migration, etc.
- Security Best Practices: Expertise in system security – user access controls, OS hardening, patch management, and compliance.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to collaborate across teams and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Operational experience with Ansible and Terraform are beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of your job is to lead, direct, and manage the overall operations of the community in accordance with policies and procedures and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. As the Administrator, it is your responsibility to organize, develop and direct resources to maintain the highest degree of quality care is maintained for each resident at all times. The Administrator will also plan, implement and achieve the community’s business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, with license in good standing, in the State in which you are operating.
- Must have knowledge of state guidelines/regulations in which you are practicing.
- Must have 1+ years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator or similar relevant supervisory experience.
- Must possess intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs.
Compensation and Schedule:
- Full-time, day shift (coverage as needed)
- $150,000-$160,000
