What You’ll Be Doing
As an ED RN, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of emergent and acute conditions. You’ll work alongside experienced physicians, techs, and fellow nurses in a fast-moving environment that values teamwork and critical thinking.
Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting rapid patient assessments and prioritizing care needs
Managing IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, and monitoring
Collaborating closely with providers during diagnostic testing and procedures
Responding to emergencies and participating in rapid response/Code Blue activities
Documenting care accurately using the electronic medical record
Providing education, updates, and emotional support to patients and families
Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth, coordinated care
Maintaining a safe, organized environment for patients and staff
Adapting to changing priorities and patient acuity throughout each shift

? SKILLS YOU NEED
(No ED experience required β€” acute care inpatient RN experience is acceptable)
Required

Active RN license (or ability to obtain)
At least 1 year of RN experience in an acute-care hospital setting (Med-Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, ICU, Float Pool, etc.)
Strong clinical assessment skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred or required within hire window

Preferred (but NOT required)

Prior ED, Urgent Care, or Observation Unit experience
Experience with cardiac monitoring/telemetry
Trauma or critical care exposure

Job Details
  • Responsible for providing on call patient visits scheduled, or unscheduled, for urgent physical and psycho-social issues during afterhours scheduled shift, in coordination with Call Center Triage and On Call Manager.
  • Rotating Work hours include: 1 pm to 9 pm shift AND 5 pm to 1 AM shift
  • Available via cell phone to respond to Triage visit requests, and communicates effectively with the on call team, including Hospice physician to address urgent patient needs, and establish a safe plan of care. Implements plan of care, educating patient/primary caregiver on changes to plan of care, including medication management, patient safety, and symptom management.
  • Attends patient deaths as directed to provide emotional support and guidance to family.
  • Reports off to triage and primary Hospice team concerning patient related visit, changes to plan of care, and follow up needs.
  • Car Service is provided for Emergent patient visits

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate professional with a genuine desire to improve the health and lives of neonates. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our smallest and most vulnerable patients, while also offering support and education to their families. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment that is as rewarding as it is challenging.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates, including those requiring ventilator support, CPAP/HFNC management, phototherapy management, and thermoregulation & incubator care.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests to monitor the health of neonates, and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Implement and manage neonatal resuscitation protocols as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to formulate, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for each patient.
  • Educate and support families, helping them understand their child's condition, treatment plan, and future care needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation, including clinical charting.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Job Details
  • Provide outpatient primary care services focused on women's health to a diverse patient population.
  • Maintain a consistent full-time schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Family Medicine Physicians, Pediatricians, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
  • Utilize administrative time effectively for charting and care coordination within our outpatient facilities.

Requirements:
  • Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum of one year of professional work experience as a certified Nurse Practitioner, preferably within Women's Health including pre-natal experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
  • A strong commitment to serving low-income and indigent populations.
  • Valid certification and licensure to practice in the state of California.
