ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy, Vision and Leadership
•Drive the execution of annual fundraising plans, calendars, and forecasts, achieving at least a 10% year-over-year increase in development revenue and increasing donor engagement using data-driven reporting to drive strategy.
•Spearhead special campaigns—including year-end giving and milestone anniversaries to generate increased contributions and expand donor participation.
•Support CEO and the Construction team in writing RFPs and grants for state and federal funding.
•Partner strategically with the Volunteer Program Team and Special Events to create high-impact donor cultivation experiences, resulting in increased stewardship and long-term support.
•Collaborate with the Communications Team to produce the Annual Report, Constant Contact email and social media using storytelling to align with fundraising strategies

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Chief Development Officer (CDO) reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the overall planning, design, construction, and ensuring the maintenance policy is established prior to handover to the maintenance team of all HAS physical infrastructure associated with the projects of the Major Projects Portfolio (MPP) (approximately $1.0B+ in value) to consistently provide world-class airport airside, terminal, and landside facilities developed and maintained to optimize sustainability and life cycle costs. Additionally, providing oversight of the Permitting processes (TIP & BSG) for an annual construction budget of $1.2B, which could include interfacing with other City entities to ensure proper interface and code alignment.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Create technology specific scopes of work and responsibility matrices tailored to individual projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and obtains vendor & trade partner pricing to compile complete & accurate budgets or hard bid proposals.
- Manage budgets, costs and projections related to assigned projects.
- Assist with the development, dissemination, accountability and discipline of Aptitude processes and standards.
- Lead, coach and motivate team members in a proactive manner, consistent with the JE Dunn's Strategic Objectives and Core Values.
- Support the deployment of Aptitude strategies for project delivery to achieve project financial, quality and performance objectives.
- Participate in companywide communication programs and strategy sessions to enhance the company's ability to effectively market, sell and deliver technology related services.
- Manage budgets, schedule, staffing projections, billing and collections relating to assigned projects.
- As part of the project master schedule develops and manage a project plan & schedule to identify tasks, resources and timing to achieve project objectives (scope, schedule, cost, quality).
- Track and report progress on the achievement of project milestone(s) with team members, stakeholders and team leaders.
- Communicate, track and resolve issues in an effective and prompt manner throughout the life of the project.
- Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation of performance to plan.
- Ensure that all project documents are properly managed and archived upon project completion.
In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:
- Management of the technology consulting process between JE Dunn and client/owner's consultants and contractors.
- Initiating business development activities to grow the Aptitude contribution to the organization.
- Participate and support JE Dunn project pursuit activities to maximize the value-added benefits of Aptitude to customers (internal and external).
- Identify and develop new technologies that support the Smart Building offering of Aptitude.
- Facilitate internal and external training to generate awareness of the Aptitude offering.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Engage local civic organizations and municipality activities to establish the Aptitude offering as a differentiator that supports JE Dunn as an industry leader.
- Assist in maintaining and growing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, IT or related field (Required).
- In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- 8+ years experience in Information Technology/Security/Life Safety related systems (Required).
- 5+ years of project management experience (Required).
- Valid and unrestricted drivers license required
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- May require periods of travel and/or relocation
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs
- May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold)

POSITION SUMMARY
Generates IT (information technology) sales and business, develops relationships with new clients, makes sales visits and presentations, maintains advanced knowledge of products and services, and establishes and meets sales goals

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well organized individual who has two years or more experience selling Managed Services such as (VoIP Phone services and systems, data storage and backup and managed services for email) into the SMB Market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and expands a portfolio of corporate clients by networking and marketing
Assesses client IT needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages
Prepares sales visits and presentations to pitch product, service, and combination packages to clients
Demonstrates IT equipment to highlight product benefits
Negotiates sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
Provides technical advice after sales
Establishes sales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals
Tracks progress toward goals and documents sales performance
Becomes fluent in all products and services offered by the employer through testing, demonstrations, and research
Answers questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services
Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products
Creates marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales
Attends trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales
Works for technology manufacturers, software manufacturers, IT consultancies, and technology solutions organizations

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Associates degree or a combination of Sales Training and relevant experience in Marketing, Business Administration or an equivalent Sales role
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Two years of experience selling one or more of the following, VoIP phone services and systems, data storage and backup, managed services for email, security access and control, Previous experience in a quota carrying role Excellent written and verbal communication
Demonstrated ability to meet monthly sales quotas.
