Much like a shuttle service, PTI receives around-the-clock requests from our railroad customers to pick up and drop off train crews. Job Summary:

As a PTI Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting railroad crew members wherever the railroad requests. Trip length and times vary depending on railroad customer needs. Safety is always our #1 priority and should be the main focus for our Van Drivers. No prior professional driving experience required!

Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and practicing safety awareness
  • Prioritize on time performance to meet customer needs
  • Pick up and drop off our customers safely to their destinations

POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports (β€œVCRs”) on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
  • Safely operate his or her heavy truck along his or her designated route and to the disposal site; read route sheet, follow map and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.
  • Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
  • Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.

We are currently seeking a Fuel Transport Driver with an excellent driving record. Experience in the petroleum industry is preferred but not required. The right candidate will have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a minimum of 1 year's tractor/trailer driving experience. We are seeking several CDL Class A auto hauler Company Drivers to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating your truck with a capacity of up to 80,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Physical Requirements:

* Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, including automotive parts and equipment, to facilitate loading and unloading procedures.
* Driving Skills: Proficient driving skills, including the ability to operate commercial vehicles such as car carriers and trailers safely and effectively for extended periods.
* Manual Dexterity: Capable of manipulating vehicle tie-downs, securing mechanisms, and operating hydraulic systems as needed for loading, unloading, and securing vehicles.
* Endurance: Stamina to withstand long hours of driving and working in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, rain, and snow, while maintaining alertness and focus.
* Visual Acuity: Good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, to navigate roads safely and inspect vehicles for damage or defects during loading and unloading procedures.
* Physical Agility: Agility and flexibility to maneuver in tight spaces within cargo areas, climb ladders for vehicle inspection purposes, and perform tasks associated with vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
* Walking: Significant walking is required, including movement around loading docks, storage areas, and vehicle inspection zones to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety protocols.

We pay by percentage of load for experienced 9 car company drivers (ranging from 25%-28%, plus additional bonuses between 1%-3% based on safety, damages, etc.), we offer benefits, paid vacation, and achievable bonuses.
