The Production Technician will assist in the assembly and testing of Greensea IQ products, components, and systems. Central Maine Medical Center, a Prime Healthcare affiliated hospital, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its established and expanding Digestive Health program in Lewiston, Maine.
This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive gastroenterology in a collaborative hospital-based environment, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Collaboration & Quality
• Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, oncology, radiology, and primary care teams
• Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical record documentation
• Adhere to medical staff bylaws, hospital policies, and regulatory standards

Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including:
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
- Colonoscopy
- Biopsy and polypectomy
- Hemostasis and dilation
- PEG placement
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including:
- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Liver disease and hepatitis
- Pancreatic disorders
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Participate in a shared call schedule
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Completion of accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for or active Maine medical license
• DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certification
