What you will be doing:
- Act as the Technical Authority - Specify Manufacturing Engineering and process requirements and make technical decisions in relation to the area of accountability and chair the Control Authority(s) governing change for area of accountability, subject to appropriate delegation.
- Own foundry process capability standards, qualification strategies, and revalidation plans.

- Deploy capability - Maintain and/or govern Production Technical Packages (technical instructions, programs, tooling, etc.) for all parts/assemblies which clearly define the manufacturing process whilst ensuring manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture within the business and suppliers are capable of meeting and continuing to meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery rate and lead-time.
- Product Safety - Responsible for ensuring that product safety risks are understood and mitigated to meet the required safety levels and reduce the safety risks so far as is reasonably practicable and champion product safety and promote a product safety culture in the supply chain, ensuring learning related to product safety is embedded.
- Drive measurable improvements in foundry performance including yield, scrap, CoNQ, throughput, takt adherence, and lead time.
- Identify, evaluate, and govern investments in process improvements, automation, digital tools, and technology insertion.
- Translate technical improvements into sustained operational results through standardization and control.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers, building depth in investment casting and single crystal expertise.
- Set clear expectations linking technical rigor to operational outcomes.
- Act as a mentor and role model for disciplined problem solving, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Plant Manager in supervising Team Leaders and production personnel across Melt, Mold Maintenance, and Casting Deck departments
- Support daily operations to ensure production goals for quantity, quality, and cost efficiency are achieved
- Conduct daily safety spot checks and ensure adherence to all safety standards and policies
- Monitor production performance, quality, and yield, reporting key metrics to leadership
- Step in to support managerial responsibilities when leadership is unavailable

Job Summary
The Sourcing Manager will lead the strategic sourcing and supplier management of aluminum extrusions, powder coating, castings, fabricated metals, and other products. This role is critical to developing a resilient, cost-effective, and globally competitive supply base. You’ll work cross-functionally to optimize cost, ensure continuity, and improve supplier performance across multiple commodities. Essential Functions
- Develop and lead sourcing strategies for aluminum extrusions and other assigned commodities in alignment with business goals and global market conditions.
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate current and potential domestic and international suppliers based on total cost, quality, capability, and capacity.
- Generate and maintain various top management flash reports and monthly market overview reports on key commodities.
- Manage supplier negotiations focused on long-term value: pricing, terms, payment schedules, rebates, lead times, and risk mitigation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers; drive continuous improvement via performance reviews, scorecards, and structured feedback.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Organize incoming alloy by type keeping the area organized and clean.
- Will become forklift certified and will operate a hoist/ crane and a grinder.
- Will weld charge pieces together.
- Operating the following GSP Standards: XRS gun inspection and use, ingot chamfering on both ends, proper alloy consumption +/- 2 lbs, only one open crane in the area.

- Use powered equipment to retrieve and place inventory and non-inventory in staging areas, trailers, pallet locations, and bulk racks.
- Resolving cycle count variances by manual research methods.
- All aspects of inventory movement tracking: creating, locating, and consuming.
- Unloading shipping trailers, checking in, stocking, and delivering of non-inventory supply units.
- Sort units to be repackaged and returned to stock. Sorting out the individual units to be manually returned to small goods bin locations.
- Relocating units in the pick module to allow for increased capacity.
- Scanning carton and unit dimensions into warehouse management system to determine proper tote, carton, and bin capacities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Inventory Specialists need problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; sweep, wiped down and trash collected.

Essential Functions:
- Conduct daily audits of Production Associates to support the Blue Chip incentive bonus program.
- Audit DC policies and procedures related to goods processing.
- Compile and analyze audit data to assist management in identifying and resolving issues.
- Perform audits including Outbound Container, Marking, Unit ID, hotel storage, and other quality checks.
- Communicate audit results to ICQA and Operations management.
- Provide consistent, high-quality internal and external customer service.
- Assist with cycle counting and discrepancy audits in hotel storage areas.
- Support exception processing for issues such as Not in Location, Duplicate Barcode, No-Read, and Not in Database.
- Collaborate with processing areas to ensure timely merchandise flow through the warehouse.
