As an Expert Consultant, you will be integrated into a BCG team to leverage your deep expertise on projects that reshape finance functions. You will be given end-to-end responsibility for a workstream within a BCG project. You will work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, and win buy-in for your recommendations, while also collaborating with colleagues on complex client issues. You will provide deep expertise and insight to clients and help build your expertise area within BCG. A majority of your time will be focused on supporting and executing case work.

What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in finance across topics such as finance function effectiveness, CFO advisory, FP&A, process and policy, technology, operations, organizational structure and strategy, and/or transformation .
- Previous consulting experience is required.
- Proven experience working on finance transformation programs including: operating model redesign, process re-engineering, technology enablement, shared services, finance technology, budgeting, management reporting and Business Intelligence, core accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, AI and machine learning.
- Experience in finance technology stacks, process optimization, and data architecture to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
- Strong consulting skill set with a demonstrated willingness to learn and grow.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Operational Excellence Leader at our manufacturing site in Parsons, Kansas, plays a critical role in driving the Power Flame Inc Lean Systems throughout the organization. This leader is responsible for advancing strategy deployment, implementing lean methodologies, and aligning plant-level initiatives with corporate strategic goals. The role reports to the General Manager and the Astec corporate team to ensure cohesion in strategy and execution.
KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the deployment of the Hoshin Kanri strategy framework at the plant and Power Flame business unit level to ensure alignment with corporate goals and initiatives.
- Plan and facilitate cross-functional Kaizen events that drive measurable improvements across manufacturing, sales, and support functions.
- Implement core Lean Systems and tools such as 5S, standard work, visual management, value stream mapping, TPM, and continuous flow to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
- Champion and oversee the deployment of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), including the implementation of pillars like autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, quality maintenance, and early equipment management.
- Design and deliver structured Lean and TPM training programs that teach tools, principles, and cultural behaviors across all organizational levels, ensuring understanding and practical application.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across both shop floor and office operations, supporting functional leaders in achieving performance targets.
- Coach and mentor employees and leaders in structured problem-solving methods such as A3 thinking to build capability and foster ownership.
- Act as a hands-on liaison between the site and corporate teams, ensuring strategic alignment and effective communication across all improvement initiatives.
- Support capital investment planning by conducting ROI analysis and evaluating the operational impact of proposed projects.
- Develop and maintain True North Boards and PQVC (People, Quality, Velocity, Cost) dashboards to ensure performance visibility and alignment with business objectives.
- Integrate Lean thinking into onboarding and leadership development programs to reinforce a culture of continuous improvement from day one.
- Build internal problem-solving capability by coaching teams to sustain gains and independently lead improvement efforts.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment sessions to identify priorities, remove barriers, and foster collaboration across departments.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership to align operational improvements with business growth strategies, including capacity expansion and new product introductions.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Laboratory Excellence Sr. Auditor based in Buffalo, New York. As a Laboratory Excellence Sr. Auditor, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to satisfy the training needs of Lactalis USA Labs, as well as assuming responsibility for the auditing of all Lactalis USA Labs (12 relay labs + 8 auditing).
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Coordinate travel to all USA labs, report of their compliance against the Lactalis testing expectations (SOPs, reproducibility, etc.). Create a force of proposal for improvement and follow up.
- As a Lactalis laboratory accredited auditor, you will plan, organize and perform lab audits for all internal and external labs used by Lactalis in USA, follow up on all corrective actions noted during auditing, make proposals for acceptance (or not) of new external labs (chemistry and micro), based on audit results and compliance within Lactalis protocols.
- Responsibility of "Lab relay" for the USA (that includes plants laboratories, such as LAG, LUSY, Karoun, and LHD); travel to all laboratories in the US to bring testing methods according to the Lactalis standards. Will organize bi-weekly teams meetings with each lab, following on corrective actions and updates on progress
- Responsibility of the integration of any new labs, as Lactalis pursue new acquisitions, as they will need to be transitioned into Lactalis Lab procedures and protocols.
- Manage the Lactalis Cecalait verification system with all laboratories, helping to troubleshoot when out of compliance
- Contribute to ongoing meetings such as : Monthly Teams Meeting with Groupe Lactalis (France), Quarterly meetings with each division Quality leader about lab progress, Quarterly meetings with each division VP Quality.
- Provide recommendations for new alternative test methods, thus improving lab efficiencies
- Maintain communications with Groupe Lactalis: reports and KPIs to DQG in Laval, attend annual group Lactalis seminars for Laboratory and R&D updates and incorporate them into US Lab practices

Education
- 5+ years Management experience required
- Lab auditing experience required
- Minimum of 10 years relevant previous analytical laboratory experience in a regulated industry required.
Certifications and Specific Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of principles of Food analysis required.
- Strong laboratory skills (Chemistry and Microbiology)
- Strong Mathematics knowledge including stoichiometry and statistics.
- Strong communication skills to communicate direction and new methodology to lab personal
- Strong Computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report writing and presentations.
- Attend periodic training/ seminars pertaining to ISO methods, AOAC International methods, BAM methods
Competencies
- Mastery of the chemistry of dairy products
- Capacity to audit strategies in term of Hygiene, Safety, Risks and Environment or Laboratory and to analyze, elaborate and present the results and the associated action plans (teams of investigation)
- Master statistics logics necessary to manage metrology, the follow-up of the allegiances of the methods and the validation of the methods of routine versus references
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to investigate and resolve non-compliant quality issues.

- A 455-bed regional referral center is presenting an excellent opportunity for a fellowship trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist who is certified in Advanced Perioperative TEE.
- The hospital-employed physician will receive an annual salary of $675K, signing bonus to start at $50K, student loan repayment, possible stipend, and full benefits
- The successful candidate would join two other full-time Cardiac Anesthesiologists and a team of five cardiac-dedicated CRNAs.
- They do cardiac, vascular and thoracic cases in the OR, plus lots of work in the cath lab.
- Must be fellowship trained in cardiac and either certified in advanced TEE or a new grad planning to become certified.
- The OR work is mostly supervision.
- The Cardiac Anesthesiologist would also perform anesthesia for Cath Lab cases including Electrophysiology and Structural Heart.
- The department performs nearly 500 cardiac surgical cases per year, plus thoracic and vascular cases.
