About The Position

The Operations Program Manager will lead a PMO project management team, ensuring the successful execution of site efficiency programs across several manufacturing facilities at Astec. Key Deliverables

  • Architect and oversee the multi-site project portfolio to ensure 100% alignment with the Infrastructure Solutions (IS) strategic roadmap and ROI targets.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous portfolio governance standards to ensure data integrity across all budget, resource, and schedule reporting.
  • Maintain absolute control over "Planned" data (budget and ROI projections) to ensure the PMO remains the single source of truth and prevents unauthorized data manipulation by decentralized leads.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers and coordinators.
  • Oversee the project management team portfolio to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prepare and present program-level reporting and dashboards for upper management.
  • Analyze current project management processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance enterprise maturity.
  • Implement new procedures and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, Astec representatives, vendors, and various internal departments to achieve program goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous feedback to team members.

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

  • Experience leading a portfolio of projects with a combined value exceeding $10M in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • 7–10 years of end-to-end project management experience with a proven track record of managing direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate high-stakes planning workshops and steer cross-functional matrixed teams.
  • Proficiency in Project Management Software (e.g., Project Insight, Asana, Microsoft Project, etc.) and the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Professional certification such as PMP, PgMP, or PfMP is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.

In partnership with AMN Healthcare, Karmanos Cancer Institute and Wayne State University invite applications for a highly accomplished physician-investigator to serve as the Genitourinary Multidisciplinary Team Leader & Medical Director of the Prostate Cancer Center of Excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of GU cancer care and research at an independent NCI Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center that is part of McLaren Health Care, anchoring Michigan's largest cancer research/care network, and home to one of the nation's most expansive clinical trials program.

The Opportunity

The Genitourinary (GU) Oncology program at Karmanos Cancer Institute has been considered a strength for many years; the GU team was the first Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) formed at Karmanos and serves as a model to the other disease site teams. Under the previous leader, Karmanos Cancer Institute partnered with University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center and successfully obtained a Prostate SPORE in 2019 which was funded through 2024. Due to non-overlapping patient populations, future collaboration opportunities exist.

Reporting to the CEO of Karmanos Cancer Institute, the GU Multidisciplinary Team Leader will lead a multidisciplinary team of 16 physician faculty and will also serve as a member of senior leadership committees, including the Scientific Leadership Council, where they will represent the Prostate Cancer Center of Excellence, Medical Executive Committee and the Clinical Leadership Council. Faculty appointments are awarded through Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Additionally, as Medical Director of the Prostate Cancer Center of Excellence, this leader will set the strategic direction for the prostate cancer research program, guide the design and execution of research initiatives, strengthen integration between basic and clinical science, and oversee a comprehensive and growing clinical trial portfolio The KCI catchment area encompasses 6.7 million residents, with a richly diverse population across ethnic and socioeconomic lines-providing a unique environment for advancing health disparities research and more.

The Ideal Candidate

The GU MDT Leader should have experience developing and leading high-functioning multidisciplinary teams within a cancer center as well as experience leading an externally funded program of research supported by NIH, industry, foundation, or other sources. Requirements include an MD, DO, or equivalent terminal medical degree as well as current certification in any of the oncology specialties.

As part of McLaren Health Care, the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute remains Michigan's only hospital dedicated exclusively to fighting cancer and is the largest cancer research and provider network in Michigan. Karmanos is one of 57 National Cancer Institute (NCI) Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, with one of the largest clinical trials programs in the United States, including a robust Phase 1 Clinical Trials Program housed at the Eisenberg Center for Translational Therapeutics, the only program of its kind in Michigan. Through 17 network sites, Karmanos reaches patients in 47 counties in Michigan and northern Ohio, including urban, suburban and rural populations.

We are looking for a Commercial Excellence Specialist to support our global commercial team. This role combines business support with data analytics, helping us improve processes, track KPIs, and deliver insights through dashboards and reports.


Key Responsibilities:


Commercial & Business Support

  • Prepare sales performance reports and KPI summaries that help leadership make informed decisions.
  • Maintain data accuracy by regularly updating records and validating key information across systems.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to capture activities, ensure process compliance, and improve overall data quality.
  • Support training and development programs by creating training materials, tracking participation, and monitoring completion rates.
  • Provide administrative support for commercial initiatives, including updating dashboards, organizing documents, and assisting with project deliverables.


Data & Analytics

  • Build and update KPI dashboards to provide clear visibility into business performance.
  • Configure and maintain sales reports aligned with commercial processes and business needs.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data to support routine reporting and identify basic trends.
  • Automate simple data workflows to improve efficiency and ensure timely, consistent reporting.


Commercial Excellence Projects

  • Support the execution of Commercial Excellence initiatives by coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Maintain project dashboards and progress trackers to ensure leadership has up‑to‑date visibility on timelines and deliverables.
  • Help collect and organize inputs from sales, marketing, and customer service teams to support project milestones and decision‑making.
  • Prepare basic analyses and summaries that support Commercial Excellence workstreams (e.g., Sales Process, Segmentation, Enablement, Pricing).
  • Assist in process improvement activities, such as mapping workflows, identifying gaps, and preparing materials for workshops.
  • Contribute to change management efforts by helping draft communications, training materials, and instructions for end users.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Excellence (sales or business processes)
  • Previous experience with Power BI (data modeling and visualization)
  • Robust familiarity with Salesforce reporting and dashboards
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
  • Knowledge of SQL helpful
  • History of understanding data analysis and interpreting trends
  • Knowledge of data integration concepts, data visualization or analytics helpful
  • Detail oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
