We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to serve as a Cable/Ribbon Assembly Equipment Capability Engineer supporting high volume cable manufacturing operations. This role is highly technical and focused on equipment capability, mechanical performance, and process robustness for cable assembly lines. The engineer will be responsible for driving equipment performance improvements, ensuring process capability, and supporting new equipment introduction and line expansions.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Capability & Performance
* Own mechanical capability of cable/ribbon assembly equipment
* Establish and maintain equipment capability metrics (OEE, Cp/Cpk, uptime, scrap, yield)
* Lead mechanical capability studies, line balancing, and throughput optimization efforts
* Identify mechanical constraints impacting line speed, tension stability, concentricity, and dimensional control Mechanical Engineering & Design
* Design, modify, and optimize tooling, fixturing, guides, rollers, payoff systems, and tension control mechanisms
* Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for equipment upgrades and custom tooling
* Perform engineering calculations related to tension, torque, inertia, thermal effects, and material deformation
* Support equipment retrofits and modernization projects
Manufacturing Support & Troubleshooting
* Provide hands on technical support during production, trials, and equipment start ups
* Perform structured root cause analysis (mechanical, process, interface issues) and implement corrective actions
* Collaborate with process, controls, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve chronic equipment issues
* Support development and execution of FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and line acceptance criteria
New Equipment & Supplier Interface
* Define mechanical requirements and performance specifications for new cable assembly equipment
* Work directly with OEMs and system integrators on equipment design, build, and acceptance
* Review vendor drawings, layouts, and design proposals for compliance with performance and safety requirements
Documentation & Standards
* Create and maintain mechanical documentation including equipment specifications, PM standards, and change records
* Ensure compliance with applicable safety, ergonomic, and manufacturing standards
* Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* 3-6 years of experience in cable manufacturing or cable assembly equipment engineering
* Strong hands on experience with ribboning, stranding, extrusion, shielding, jacketing, or armoring equipment
* Deep understanding of mechanical systems in continuous manufacturing environments
* Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
* Proficiency in data Analysis - JMP, Excel, Minitab
* Experience performing equipment capability analysis and production line optimization
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with ribbon cable manufacturing

Summary
This is a regional position, but is a support role for all projects in the SE Region. The role will require assisting in pre-construction scheduling for our \"Work Winning\" and \"Business Development\" teams in Wilmington, NC. The role will also require travel to various project sites to assist in schedule baselining, schedule updates, schedule workshops, etc. Lastly, the role will require project engineering assistance in the research and analysis of the contract documents required to establish accurate activity durations and schedule logic. This includes quantity takeoffs, production analysis, and research of project phasing and schedule driven project requirements.
Essential Functions
- Must know all aspects of scheduling software (P6 a must and MS Project a plus);
- Must have served in the role of a full time scheduler for at least 2 years (5 is ideal), and must have been the lead on a project schedule for at least 2 projects where submissions to the Owner / Client were required.
- Must have a firm understanding of Highway construction including traffic management and phasing;
- Must have firm understanding of contract requirements for CPM Schedules for DOT projects and Unit Price quantity driven scheduling techniques and cost loading.
- The role will require designation as the \"scheduling representative\" listed in DOT contracts.
- Lastly, the role will require assistance to project engineering tasks such as quantity takeoffs, production analysis, cost tracking, etc.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide gentle and low-stress handling of oncology patients, ensuring comfort and emotional support throughout visits and treatments.
- Monitor patient condition and behavior during exams, treatments, and recovery, reporting changes to the supervising veterinarian.
- Assist with patient intake, physical exams, and follow-up appointments. Ability to coordinate and manage client communication via phone and email with indirect supervision.
- Administer oral, injectable, and IV medications as prescribed.
- Prepare, administer, and properly dispose of chemotherapy agents according to hospital and safety protocols. Excellent venipuncture skills in order to learn or execute safe chemotherapy administration.

Requirements:
LVT certification is preferred, VTS of Oncology is prioritized. At least 2 years of veterinary experience (required) with a strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology required. Prior Oncology experience with a strong understanding of chemotherapy safety and handling protocols preferred.

Primary Purpose of the Role The position is a junior-level HR Specialist supporting the HR team at Wilmington, NC, manufacturing plant (approx.
1,000 employees, union environment).
The primary goal is to drive employee engagement, deliver strong internal customer service, support HR operations, assist with HR data analytics, and help execute various employee events and training programs.

Job Title : Aviation Electronics, Electrical & Computer Systems Technician (AE/AT) Category / Component : Enlisted • Active Overview Aviation Electronics, Electrical and Computer Systems Technicians keep Navy aircraft mission ready by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the electrical power, avionics, and computer based systems that enable radar, communications, navigation, flight controls, and weapons at sea and ashore.
Qualified Sailors may also volunteer as Naval Aircrewmen and perform in flight systems operations and mission support.
Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair complex aircraft systems including digital computers, fiber optics, radar, laser electronics, infrared detection, and communications and navigation suites; maintain aircraft electrical power generation and distribution systems; test and calibrate aircraft instruments and automatic flight controls; perform micro miniature circuit card repair for qualified technicians; install modifications and upgrades to aircraft avionics and electrical systems; use diagnostic equipment and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to restore systems to full mission capability.
What to Expect A mix of hands on flight line maintenance and bench diagnostics in hangars, avionics shops, and aboard aircraft carriers; frequent troubleshooting under time pressure to return aircraft to service; work around high tempo flight operations with rotating shifts, nights, and weekends while deployed; strict adherence to safety, tool control, foreign object damage prevention, tag out procedures, and quality assurance standards; opportunities to qualify as a work center leader or collateral duty inspector as you gain experience.
Work Environment Assignments with squadrons at naval air stations and aboard aircraft carriers worldwide; work in hangars, avionics labs, and outdoors on flight lines in all weather conditions and high noise environments; close teamwork with other aviation ratings and aircrew in a structured maintenance organization; potential temporary duty with detachments and deployments supporting carrier or expeditionary operations.
Pathways, Training & Advancement Recruit Training followed by Class A School in Pensacola, Florida, covering aviation theory, electrical systems, electronics fundamentals, and technical skills; assignment after A School into either the Aviation Electrician's Mate or Aviation Electronics Technician rating based on performance and Navy needs; advanced platform specific schools for particular aircraft and mission systems; opportunities to qualify for micro miniature repair and, for volunteers who qualify, to attend Naval Aircrew training.
Enlist for the Aviation Electronics and Electrical pipeline, with final placement into AE or AT after A School based on performance and service needs; qualified Sailors may later volunteer for Naval Aircrew duty after initial rating qualification and screening.
