General Description:
Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair marine diesel engines along with hydraulic and propulsion systems on commercial vessels. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot complex malfunctions, and ensure safe and efficient vessel operation.
Primary Job Functions:
- Troubleshooting. Determining what is causing an operating error and deciding what to do about it
- Testing. Conducting tests to determine whether equipment, software, or procedures are operating as expected
- Ability to perform major and specialized mechanical overhaul and repair work on marine engines and related equipment and systems is preferable.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Dismantles and repairs defective equipment on the engine and reassembles equipment
Desired Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and propulsion systems, combined with troubleshooting expertise.
- Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail for repairs, physical stamina for working in tight spaces/outdoor conditions, and proficiency with diagnostic tools.

Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate
- 2-5 years of Diesel Engine mechanic experience preferable
- Valid Drivers License

Key Responsibilities
- Project Management – Treatment Focus: Lead planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment plant projects and related facilities (including pumping stations and associated collection/distribution infrastructure) for municipal and utility clients.
- Scope, Schedule & Budget: Manage multiple concurrent projects, taking ownership of scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, change management, and contract closeout.

Position Responsibilities:
∙ Support airframe structural designs based on trade studies, research, and analysis.
∙ Responsible for performing detailed analysis of advanced composite and metallic structure using classical hand calculations and FE tools to develop high performance airframe structures.

The Intern/Co-Op position at Maxcess Rotometrics is targeting Junior or Senior level undergraduate students currently enrolled in an Accredited engineering program at a College or University. This position will provide an opportunity for the student to work alongside the engineering team to support the design and manufacturing of converting tools (rotary dies, print cylinders, etc). This type of tooling is used to convert materials into labels for wine/beer bottles, medical and automotive devices (band aid's, gaskets) and non-wovens (diapers, face masks).
