Job Title: Field Technician II

Working Pattern: Friday - Sunday from 6am -6:30pm (working 36 hours but paid for 40 with 10% shift premium)

As the field technician II, you will join our team of technicians based in Savannah, Georgia supporting business and civil large aviation customers in our repair station shop. In this role you will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on aircraft engines and you will work varying shifts and travel domestically and internationally up to 80%. This role will have occasional on-call weekends once a month.

In this team-based environment, you will be looked upon to train, mentor, and guide the work of less experienced technicians within your group.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Execute predefined maintenance and continuous improvement plans.
  • Identify gaps, breakdowns, and opportunities in equipment and integrated factory systems.
  • Drive maintenance and process improvements to implementation or resolution.
  • Identify, plan, and execute work to troubleshoot, repair, modify, or install complex manufacturing equipment and systems.

This function includes following the manufacturing process per the work order, the use of a forklift and overhead crane to stage material, following established machine set-up documents, processing the copper in accordance with established process parameters, conducting required quality activities, completing required documentation, labeling and staging of conforming product.
