What you will do
As the Engineering Manager, this role will lead technical operations at a critical minerals recycling facility. The role will drive process optimization, oversee equipment performance, and ensure seamless integration of new technologies while maintaining compliance with industry standards. The role will evaluate and ensure adherence to process specifications in each area of the lead recycling process; coordinate and implement continuous improvement projects, change management, and replication of best practices within the business unit. The position will also maintain documentation of changes or improvements implemented that directly impact the process.
How you will do it
- Manage technical projects to enhance reliability, efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all systems
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive Safety, Quality and Productivity solutions while overseeing the technical services budget
- Lead technical specialists in executing projects and integrating new equipment/processes into production
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to engineering team, fostering high performance and collaborative culture.
- Serve as technical expert for operational challenges and compliance requirements
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment and workflows
- Align local technical practices with corporate standards through close coordination
- Maintain 24/7 readiness for emergency support with flexible scheduling
- Manage the creation and updating process documentation for lead and polypropylene recycling.
- Develop process automation options through the Engineering area.
- Create proposals to improve Plant process technology.
- Assess, implement, and maintain adherence to engineering standards, process specifications, and quality requirements across all functional areas
- Participate in Occupational Safety and Health incident investigations when required.

What we look for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required - Mechanical Metallurgical Engineer or Chemical Engineer preferred.
- 10+ years experience in technical operations within a complex manufacturing /industrial environment
- 3+ years in a technical leadership/supervisory role
- Experience in lead acid batteries recycling process is preferred
- Demonstrated experience and successes using continuous improvement and six sigma tools
- Knowledge of environmental, health & safety standards
- Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability
- Travel required

The position will be based at the St. Francis Downtown campus. Palmetto Greenville Urology has 6 urologists and 5 APCs. We are looking for an additional Urologist to join the group to increase patient access and plan for a physician retirement.

Process Engineering Manager – Electronics Manufacturing

We are supporting a leading electronics manufacturer in the search for a Process Engineering Manager to take ownership of high-volume manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement across production.
This is a key leadership role within a well-established manufacturing environment, focused on electronics components and high-volume production, where process stability, yield optimisation and efficiency are critical.
The Role
You will lead and develop a team of process engineers and technicians, driving improvements across manufacturing processes, introducing new technologies and ensuring robust, scalable production.
Working closely with production, quality, supply chain and R&D, you will play a central role in ensuring processes are efficient, repeatable and aligned with both operational and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and mentor a team of 7+ process engineers and technicians
- Drive process optimisation across a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment
- Introduce new assembly technologies, automation and equipment
- Ensure strong process capability through SPC, PFMEA and control plans
- Support new product introduction with a focus on design for manufacturability
- Own key manufacturing metrics including yield, scrap and process capability
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
- Evaluate and justify capital investment for process improvements
- Oversee qualification of new processes and equipment
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership experience within electronics manufacturing
- Proven background in high-volume manufacturing environments
- 5+ years’ experience within process, product or operations engineering
- Experience leading engineering teams and driving performance
- Strong knowledge of process control tools (SPC, DOE, MSA, PFMEA, 8D)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- 3 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment
