What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as  core faculty in our Family Medicine Residency Program, with a focus on  teaching obstetrical care to residents and fellows.
  • Provide  full-spectrum obstetrical care , including surgical OB, in collaboration with OB/GYNs and family physicians – our women’s health faculty currently includes two OB/GYN physicians and a FM-OB Fellowship Trained physician.   • Mentor and supervise residents and fellows in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Interventional Technologist is responsible for the overall care and evaluation of patients having invasive procedures performed in the Interventional Lab. These duties include circulating, physiologically monitoring patients during procedures, and performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular and neuroendovascular procedures and other physician guided invasive procedures. This position reports directly to the supervisor of Interventional Radiology. This position will require after hours coverage for acute emergent vascular and neurovascular procedures. This role will work directly with multiple Radiologists and Neurovascular Surgeons. Job may include the direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor. Employee must have the same licensure or have completed the same training to satisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervision means the primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography required
  • SCRQSA required
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT.
  • Experience in Neurovascular and General Interventional procedures required.
  • An excellent understanding of endovascular and neuro-endovascular devices required.
