Set-up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment using CNC controls for multiple operations to include but not limited to machining (Horizontal Boring Machines, Laser Drillers, 5-axis milling machines), bonding process, heat treatment, manual machining and hand tools, etc. Must have the ability to wear a respirator and pass a Machining/Process Operator Competency Test.

What You Bring



  • High School diploma or GED

    Overview:

    The primary purpose of this position is to set up, operate, program manual and CNC horizontal milling machines, manual lathes, and CNC lathes performing detailed operations on a variety of parts and components. Use a range of tools, including milling cutters, boring bars and heads, saws, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and more. Your role will require a proven understanding of shop mathematics and the capacity to interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts, and tables. You should also have experience with precision measuring instruments and/or specialized occupation training.


    Applicants will have 5-7 years of practical trades training, which includes familiarity with blueprints, CNC machinery, programming, G & M code, and manual machining. Effective written and verbal communication abilities are essential, and the ability to maintain Siemens Energy equipment certifications is required.


    How You’ll Make an Impact

    Will work from manufacturing information, drawings, written and/or verbal instructions and perform such operations as:



    • Using material handling devices, loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator.
    • Setting up machines by installing tooling, adjusting to proper machine settings, feeds, speeds, etc., per job documentation and drawing specifications; assure proper tooling pre-sets.
    • Will perform in-process integrity checks, as required, in order to maintain specific drawing tolerances.
    • Conducting in-process testing and charting operational information and/or recording data as required, removing chips from work pieces and clean for inspections, as required to maintain a clean work area.
    • Completing log sheets, downtime records, and other information, as required by the data collection system.
    • Adapting to various situations and adjusting to the shift priorities.

    What You Bring


    • Must have high school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree or trade school certificate is preferred.
    • A basic knowledge in the use of shop mathematics, together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, various types of precision measuring instruments and/or the training generally applicable in a particular or specialized occupation.
    • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and how it applies to the engineering provided drawing.
    • 5 Years or more in applied trades training, such as use of blueprints, CNC equipment, etc.
    • Must qualify for and maintain appropriate equipment certifications of Siemens Energy (i.e., Fork truck, crane, etc.).
    • Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.

    Join Our Team as an Advanced Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist where your skills will be utilized to manufacture power generation equipment and their subassemblies. Emphasis is placed on ability to adhere to all safety requirements, follow engineering drawings (blueprints) and interpret and execute manufacturing processes per specific work instructions and validate your work utilizing electronic quality control documentation.


    Advanced CNC machinists’ roles will involve performing precise and complex setups, utilizing various types of specialized fixtures, and collaborating with your technical support team on how related processes can be further improved. Given the role in an advanced CNC machinist there is an expectation to share knowledge, resolve issues, and add your own learnings and experiences to the knowledge base of the team.     How You’ll Make an Impact



    • Adhere to all safety rules.

    What you’ll do…

    Enchanted Rock is seeking a Product Manager for Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear to lead the technical and commercial strategy for this critical product area. This role sits within the product organization and works closely with engineering, procurement, operations, sales, and external suppliers. This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role. The Product Manager will own the switchgear roadmap, define technical requirements, guide supplier strategy, and ensure products meet performance, cost, schedule, and customer requirements across Enchanted Rock’s solutions portfolio.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Product Strategy and Ownership

    • Own the LV and MV switchgear product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals
    • Define product vision, use cases, and success metrics for switchgear platforms
    • Evaluate make vs buy decisions and supplier partnerships for switchgear solutions
    • Drive standardization while allowing flexibility for project-specific needs

    Technical Leadership

    • Act as the technical product owner for LV and MV switchgear systems
    • Work closely with Project Engineers to define functional and technical requirements including ratings, protection schemes, controls integration, compliance and safety
    • Review designs, drawings, and specifications in collaboration with engineering teams
    • Ensure alignment with applicable codes and standards including UL, ANSI, IEEE and NEC
    • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for field or manufacturing issues

    Cross Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to deliver switchgear solutions
    • Partner with sales and solutions engineering to support bids, customer discussions, and technical clarifications
    • Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements
    • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure manufacturability, lead times, and quality targets are met

    Commercial and Supplier Management

    • Support cost modeling, pricing inputs, and margin improvement initiatives
    • Work with supply chain to evaluate suppliers, negotiate technical scopes, and improve delivery performance
    • Assess total cost of ownership including capital cost, reliability, serviceability, and lifecycle impacts
    • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies

    Lifecycle Management

    • Manage products from concept through deployment and end of life
    • Drive continuous improvement based on field performance, customer feedback, and operational data
    • Maintain product documentation, specifications, and configuration standards


    Requirements

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
    • 5+ years of experience with LV and MV switchgear, product engineering, applications engineering, or OEM/supplier management for low-voltage (LV) switchgear, switchboards, or power distribution equipment.
    • You're fluent in low-voltage and/or medium-voltage switchgear, breakers, protection/control interfaces, and facility electrical integration in mission critical environments
    • Strong understanding of electrical power systems and protection concepts
    • Experience working with cross functional teams in a technical product or engineering role
    • Ability to balance technical depth with business and commercial considerations


    Nice to Have:

    • Experience in product management, systems engineering, or technical program management
    • Familiarity with generator integration, microgrids, or mission-critical power systems
    • You’re comfortable with single-line/one-line context, protection/control interfaces at a product requirements level, and documentation that prevents hazardous installation ambiguity
