What We Expect?

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, recording, and processing orders.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers and the outside sales team regarding proposals, orders, and delivery timelines.
  • Pre-qualify leads, enter them into the Salesforce, and assign them to the sales team.
  • Keep our customer database up to date in both Salesforce and SAP systems.
  • Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and globally to support both new and existing business opportunities.
  • Respond to inquiries about product availability, delivery schedules, freight costs, and shipping status.

Dover Precision Components is hiring a Territory Sales Representative for our Cook Compression brand. This is for our Southern California territory. We deliver performance- critical solutions for rotating and reciprocating machinery across several markets, including oil & gas. We are growing and innovative, participating in energy transformation efforts.


This position can be best based in Bakersfield to Los Angeles area due to customer geography. Overnight travel is expected to be up to 25%

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and create profitable sales growth within the assigned territory.

About the Role: SBW Consulting is seeking an experienced sales professional to originate, develop, and close business and serve as the point of contact for key account clients for SBW's Building Performance Standards (BPS) compliance and building energy performance services. This role serves commercial and multifamily building owners and managers across the Pacific Northwest. This is a quota-carrying role responsible for generating new revenue, building a robust sales pipeline, and expanding client relationships from initial prospect through contract signature and ongoing account growth.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Development & Pipeline Management


  • Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting, discovery calls, needs analysis, proposal development, presentations, negotiation, and contract close for BPS and building performance projects
  • Identify and engage priority building owners, asset managers, and operators in the Pacific Northwest whose portfolios are affected by building performance and emissions regulations.
  • Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn, direct outreach), industry events, utility programs, city initiatives, and professional associations
  • Own a portfolio of client accounts after initial sale, ensuring satisfaction, renewal, and growth across additional buildings and client-needed services
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records; forecast pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue; report weekly/monthly on performance vs. quota and sales metrics
  • Client Engagement & Solution Development
  • Lead discovery and sales meetings with C-suite executives, facility directors, asset managers, and ownership groups to understand building portfolios, compliance timelines, capital priorities, and decision-making criteria
  • Translate client needs and pain points into clear value propositions for SBW's energy audits, BPS compliance roadmaps, measurement & verification, and performance optimization services
  • Collaborate closely with SBW's technical team (engineers, energy analysts) to scope work, develop priced proposals, and build business cases that address both compliance and financial objectives
  • Successfully negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service levels to close deals profitably


Market Presence & Account Expansion

  • Represent SBW at industry conferences, utility-sponsored events, real estate association meetings, and local government briefings to build brand visibility and generate inbound leads
  • Develop relationships with key influencers (utilities, ESCOs, government program managers, consultants) who advise building owners on energy and compliance matters
  • Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing client accounts (additional buildings, expanded scope, ongoing advisory services)
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform SBW's service offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing messaging


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in outside sales, business development, or account management in commercial real estate, engineering or construction services, professional services, or related industries
  • Existing network and demonstrated success selling to building owners, property managers, facility operators, or real estate companies in the Pacific Northwest
  • Sales achievement track record Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed annual revenue targets, activity goals, and KPIs in a quota-carrying role
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including comfort engaging senior executives, boards, and ownership groups in substantive business conversations
  • Strong organizational and CRM proficiency Ability to manage complex, multi-month sales cycles; proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms and MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY: The Heavy Equipment Technician performs repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, compact heavy equipment, light service equipment, and light trucks. Typical repairs include, but are not limited to, preventative maintenance inspections, hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and emission systems.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical problems on heavy equipment.
  • Performs repair or preventative maintenance on electrical, diesel and gasoline vehicles, including compactor, excavator, wheel loader, and other vehicles to maximize safe and productive operations. Typical repairs and maintenance would include work on engines, transmissions, chassis, drivelines and body components, hydraulic, brake, electrical and suspension systems, wheels, tires and undercarriages.
  • Reads and interprets equipment condition reports and/or repair orders, communicate with supervisor and/or operator for clarification of defects and discuss preventive techniques with operators to minimize future repairs.
  • Completes paperwork associated with repairing equipment, documenting parts usage and accounting for applied times (i.e., work order times compared to time card times).
  • Completes daily consumables report to record hours, fuel and oil usage, and provide information for input into Dossier, Republic Services Fleet Management Software system.
  • Collects and interprets analyses from oil sampling, on-board computer, and fleet management software.
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs overhauls on gas or diesel engines.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced knowledge in air brakes, tires, hydraulics, advanced electrical, advanced drive train knowledge, suspension, steering and wheel-end components training as evidenced by ASE Certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a technician working on heavy equipment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior experience as a technician working on heavy equipment, demonstrating the ability to service increasingly more challenging maintenance repairs.Mechanical Trade School certificate or degree
  • Certificate in electrical diagnostics.
  • Applicable ASE certifications.

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare parts, operate equipment and processes for the application of Thermal Spray on component parts. The process can be manual and include automation, combined with multiple varying parameters to produce specific thermal coating structures.


 


How You'll Make an Impact


* Operate controls to activate robots and apply gases/powders for coating structures that meet specifications, while also preparing and post-processing components for Thermal Spray.


* Utilize surface preparation equipment and perform manual tasks such as masking, part conditioning, and blending as needed.


* Maintain equipment functionality by adding media/powder, checking barrels, changing nozzles/hoses, and ensuring proper fluid levels and alignment.


* Interpret technical documents (drawings, blueprints, specifications) to determine necessary tools for operations and ensure compliance with Siemens standards.


* Load/unload parts using authorized material handling devices and assist with crane operations, while maintaining detailed records and adhering to quality checks.


* Maintain a clean work area through preventative maintenance, proper storage of tools, and assist co-workers as needed, adapting to shifting priorities and team dynamics.


 


What you Bring


* Operation and knowledge of the following is required


* Preparation of components including masking, surface protection of surfaces from overspray, operation of Surface Preparation machines and post processing of residual overspray and surface finish.


* Operation and control Robotics, including toolpath of robots and flow control of gas fuels. Adjustments to programs and gas flows to control desired Thermal Spray results.


* 2-4 years of CNC experience operating robotics and auxiliary equipment.


* HS Diploma or GED Requited

Join Our Team as an Advanced Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist where your skills will be utilized to manufacture power generation equipment and their subassemblies. Emphasis is placed on ability to adhere to all safety requirements, follow engineering drawings (blueprints) and interpret and execute manufacturing processes per specific work instructions and validate your work utilizing electronic quality control documentation.


Advanced CNC machinists’ roles will involve performing precise and complex setups, utilizing various types of specialized fixtures, and collaborating with your technical support team on how related processes can be further improved. Given the role in an advanced CNC machinist there is an expectation to share knowledge, resolve issues, and add your own learnings and experiences to the knowledge base of the team. How You’ll Make an Impact



  • Adhere to all safety rules.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ability to operate either CNC Lathes, Vertical Mills, and/or Horizontal Mills.
  • Read CNC programs and be familiar with G & M codes.
  • Perform minor edits to CNC programs to improve efficiency and eliminate opportunities for error.
  • Build (pre-set tooling) as needed for specific machining processes.
  • Interpret engineering blueprints and written instructions.
  • Apply concepts of geometrical tolerancing.
  • Perform machining processes utilizing both empirical standard and metric system.
