- Communicate/coordinate with Operations regarding specific material management/ movement needs (kit pulls, kanban, milk runs, cycle counts and inventory transactions to ensure timely delivery to the shop floor and inventory accuracy.
- To perform material management activities within the confines of the systems and procedures, the SAP operating system, and the certified operator system

- Accurate inventory management using SAP and other computerized data bases.
- Cycle counting for accurate inventory counts.
- Material handling responsibilities associated with receiving parts, repackaging parts, transacting parts, counting parts, and stocking parts within the main company Stock Room and also within the manufacturing floor teams and cells.
- Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments to verify information against invoices,orders, bills of lading or other records.
- Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items.
- Route items to various departments.
- Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
- Check in inbound inventory and administer the processing of Stock to manufacturing floor.
- Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Sort, count, identify, verify, and track all material by utilizing the Oracle to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Verify receipts and log them according to required procedures.
- Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receiving log.
- Assist management in recycling material in Receiving and Stockroom.
- Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide Receiving & Stockroom information as requested.
- Ensure that all documents and material received in the warehouse and Stockroom adhere to Plant Policy.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Possess organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
Able to stand, kneel, bend, reach, and climb ladders throughout, lift 50-pounds consistently without assistance.
- Experience with inventory management systems SAP or any MRP.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to maintain accuracy (detail-oriented) without missing deadlines.
- Basic Math & Basic computer skills for accurate input.
Preferred Skills Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Strong problem- solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently."
