Well-known entertainment client is seeking a Design Coordinator to work with their team. This opportunity requires 40 hours/week for 7-months. This role is fully onsite in Kissimmee, FL.

Role Summary
The Design Coordinator will assist with project management, sample tracking, presentation development, and design support across multiple brands and product categories.

Create and manage tracking tools to provide status updates on samples and approvals
Process product and packaging approvals through online systems
Participate in collaborative meetings and guide teams on timeline deliverables
Update product decks for line reviews and prepare presentation materials for executive meetings
Input and update product information within the product management system
Provide tactical support for Product Design teams, including maintaining showrooms and preparing samples for presentations

Responsibilities:

In this highly visible position, you will manage and oversee daily order processing operations to ensure orders are entered, reviewed and released accurately and on-time. Duties include:

1. Ensure that inventory and/or product allocation issues are addressed with Planning, Sales, Production Planning, Receiving and/or Distribution management. Ensures accuracy of order confirmation and billing.
2. Manages the order pipeline updating ship windows and planned ship dates to give an accurate shipping forecast. Monitor order status, back orders, and exceptions. Proactively address delays or discrepancies.
3. Manage the on-boarding of new accounts including reviewing account requirements and sales forecast. Communicate requirements with internal teams to ensure that orders can be processed by the required date.
4. Ensures that current routing and compliance requirements are maintained for assigned customers and updates are coordinated with IT.
5. Research compliance charge backs and provide Accounts Receivable with supporting documents to handle disputes. Work with VP Operations to develop processes to avoid re-occuring chargebacks
6. Ensures that all necessary documents are provided to Order Processing to release and batch customer orders. Ensure that assigned ship dates are communicated and routing is set up.
7. Regularly communicate with Sales to ensure they are aware of account and order processing issues.
8. Coordinates with warehouse management to prepare production schedules for reworks and pallet assembly projects.
9. Oversee the flow of customer shipping orders to warehouses in accordance with customer compliance guidelines. Establishes priorities and assists in planning work center capacity and establishing receiving priorities.
10. Maintain NMFC freight class and SCAC codes in operating system.
11. Coordinates with Sales, Production, and Logistics teams and implements process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Qualified candidates must have 5+ years’ experience managing a Customer Service or Order Processing team in a high-volume consumer products environment
• Previous experience working with major retail accounts including Walmart, Target, and/or Amazon
• Understanding of customer routing through major retail portals
• Experience building and calculating truck volumes and scheduling shipments
• Hands-on experience managing customer compliance and chargeback resolution
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email) and experience with ERP and WMS systems
• Experience with the Blue Cherry ERP system is a plus

In support of this effort, we invite candidates for two (2) tenure-earning assistant professor, tenured associate professor, or tenured professor positions with the university research center on Resilient, Intelligent, and Sustainable Energy Systems (RISES). The positions have an anticipated start date of August 8, 2026.

These are interdisciplinary positions that will be expected to strengthen both the RISES Center and a chosen tenure home department and may include a combination of joint appointments. A strong advantage of this position is the ability of the candidate to choose multiple units for their joint appointment in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, the College of Sciences, or both.

All candidates whose research are at the forefronts of energy systems, resilience, and sustainability will be considered. The technical fields of specific research interest for the two positions include but are not limited to:

Position # 1- Sustainable Energy Systems: Non-Combustion (Host Department: Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering):

An ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in pathways for novel processes of electric power generation and storage that do not involve combustion. The selected candidate should be proficient in process design, characterization, and modeling of low carbon electricity generation technologies that ensure access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable power for all. We seek candidates with a strong foundation in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, and energy systems engineering, and a demonstrated research record in non-combustion-based electric power generation and/or energy storage.

Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to:

• Advanced nuclear energy systems, including small modular reactors (SMRs), microreactors, molten salt reactors, liquid metal reactors and high-temperature gas cooled reactors, especially those supporting grid resilience.

Experience with computational tools (e.g., CFD, FEA, system-level modeling) and/or experimental platforms for energy systems is expected.

Position # 2 - Machine Learning and AI for Energy Systems (Host Department: Computer Science and possibly Electrical and Computer Engineering Department):

An ideal candidate would have extensive experience applying modern machine learning techniques to solving complex problems within the energy systems. The candidate should have a strong foundation in deep learning techniques (including convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks and multi-head attention models). An experience with specialized foundation models is a plus.

-Researching, organizing, presenting and translating trend, graphics and color inspiration

-Designing socks, tights and slipper socks for Hello Kitty, Disney, Nickelodeon, Peanuts, Universal, Warner Bros., Nintendo, Sega, Coca Cola and much more

-Preparing design concept submissions for licensors

-Communicating with overseas factories

-Keeping sample boards, line sheet books and computer files organized

• Assisting Design Team in general organization
• Distribution of Design/Licensor/Sales samples
• Communicating with Design/Sales regarding passing of samples
• Tagging and pinning samples
• Filing
• Helping prep for meetings
• Ordering Design supplies
• Assisting Creative Director (ordering lunch, expense reports, etc.)
• Checking Packaging Samples for weight/color
• Filing approved packaging samples
• Displaying inspiration samples
• Manage sample purging
• Keep samples in storage rooms, cabinets and closets organized
• Deliver packages to the mailroom
• Maintain Yarn Book library
• Maintain shared Design Team Outlook Calendar
• Planning team outings, team lunches, etc.

• 3+ years of experience as a Design or Executive Assistant or comparable

• Conduct patrols of the building on a regular basis.
• Respond to all security and safety related issues in a timely manner.
• Investigate incidents and compile information for official reports.
• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without the loss of efficiency or composure.
• Use excellent customer service skills when interacting with guests, clients, and staff.
• Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines and deadlines set by Security Managers and Supervisors.
• Comply with all legal and ethical instructions given by Event Security Managers and Supervisors.
• Have a basic understanding of the rule of law and the corresponding penal codes.
• Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly relay relevant information when requested.
• Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional guests and staff during intensely aggravated circumstances.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Applicants must have and maintain a valid California Guard Card, or Proprietary Security Officer Card, for the duration of employment.
• Employee must maintain a neat, well-groomed and professional appearance that conveys professionalism at all times, whether in the office or out of the office.
• Employee must represent Peacock Theater and/or Arena and the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
• Candidate must be available to work at least four (4) various event shifts per week, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be available to work 1 day between Monday-Thursday.
  • Must be available all weekends (Friday-Sunday).
  • Shift start time by 6pm (weekends and double headers vary- earlier start time).
  • End time is at the end of the event (approximately 12am-Midnight).
