JOB TITLE: Line Operator
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
PURPOSE: Responsible for the packaging of a quality product in a safe and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform all tasks in a fashion that assures personal safety and the safety of others
- Confirm that the components on the line are correct and needed for the product produced including Pumps, Stems, Caps and Lids; and that they are being inserted correctly.
- Place bottles on the line to be packed, visually inspecting for defects including bad print, holes, and proper label.
- Make shippers, providing an adequate supply at all items to the packer.
- Pack, ensuring that each container is clean, has a readable code, and is the proper weight.
- Make sure that the shippers have the correct number of containers.
- Make sure the shippers and containers have corresponding printing and the boxes are sent through the tape machine squarely and do not run off the end of the line.
- Rotate tasks with other operators at designated time intervals.
- Verify tubes are registered correctly and inspect for leakers.
- Clean spills and messes from the line and around the area. Sweep the line, gather the trash, and place in appropriate containers.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision and do production rework as necessary.

POSITION OVERVIEW

CNC lV/Programmer ($36-$45 p/h)
This is a senior-level technical expert responsible for full-cycle CNC programming, setup, and operation of complex precision components. This role leads advanced machining strategies, develops efficient programs using CAM software, and drives continuous improvement across machining processes. This position supports engineering and manufacturing by assisting with troubleshooting, process development, and manufacturability improvements, while mentoring machinists and supporting production excellence.
Expectations
- Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)
- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes for highly complex, tight-tolerance parts
- Interpret advanced engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
- Design and recommend tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions
- Lead new part introduction (NPI) from print to production
- Perform program prove-outs, first article runs, and process validation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining, tooling, and programming issues
- Optimize cycle times, tool life, and overall machining efficiency
- Collaborate closely with engineering to improve part manufacturability (DFM feedback)
- Mentor and train CNC Machinist I–III team members
- Establish and document standardized work instructions and setup sheets
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen)
