Employment Attorney (Management-Side)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
About the Opportunity
A respected regional firm in Salt Lake City is seeking an Employment Attorney to join its expanding labor & employment practice. Key Responsibilities
- Advise employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including compliance, policies, and risk management
- Handle employment litigation matters such as wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage & hour claims
- Draft employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies
- Support internal investigations and HR-related issues
- Represent clients before administrative bodies and in court proceedings
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school and active Utah bar admission (or ability to waive in)
- 2–6 years of employment law experience (litigation and/or advisory)
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Excellent drafting and client communication skills
- Ability to balance advisory and litigation work
