Job Summary

Based on Department established priorities, provides support services in the areas of prisoner transport, prisoner care and custody, alternative sentencing methods, the taking of crime reports, calls for assistance of a non-criminal nature, records data entry and other activities within the Department.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Receives into custody persons arrested by officers, completes arrest reports, fingerprints and photographs the subject, and maintains custody in the Kirkland Police Department jail. Facilitates alternative sentencing programs.
• Transports arrested subjects to and from court or to other detention facilities.
• Coordination of court appearances and schedules.

Essential Duties:

• Booking of prisoners, includes input data, fingerprinting, photographing, searching, inventory and storing of personal effects.
• Interviews all in-custody subjects and screens for medical, psychological, and behavioral issues resulting in incarceration in another facility.
• Attends to personal bedding, hygiene needs, and medical needs of inmates as necessary.

• Day Detention. This includes initial processing and monitoring of compliance throughout the days of court-ordered detention.
• Serves warrants to individuals already arrested and jailed by other jurisdictions and provide transport to Kirkland.

• Maintains all booking photos.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Keeps the booking and cell area clean and supplied with necessary forms, inmate supplies, and equipment within the jail area.
• Conducts regular maintenance inspections of Corrections vehicles and ensures that necessary equipment is in each vehicle. Completes a written record of all inspections.
• Provides traffic control, upon request, to assist the Patrol and Traffic Divisions when authorized by the Lieutenant, in support of special events.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in jail, court, community, and police department settings as well as driving motor vehicles. The employee is not armed unless working outside of the facility (conducting transports or Kirkland Municipal Court duties) and holds a limited commission to serve warrants. A Corrections Officer is required to wear a uniform in the performance of all duties.

The Kirkland Fire Department is seeking Entry Level Firefighters who are passionate about serving their community and answering the call in times of need. Job Summary

Responsible for performing general firefighting and emergency medical care at fire and disaster scenes.

Essential Duties

• Responds to fire alarms with a company; lays and connects hose, holds nozzles and directs water stream; raises and climbs ladders; uses chemical extinguishers, bars, hooks, lines, and other equipment.
• Drives fire apparatus; operates pumps, and other auxiliary fire apparatus.
• Ventilates burning buildings by opening windows and skylights or cutting holes in roofs and floors.
• Removes persons from danger and administers emergency care to injured or ill persons.

Automotive Manufacturing company is looking to hire a Entry Level Business Analyst to join its Supply Chain team in Central Indiana.

This position is designed for a recent college graduate and/or early-career professional who currently resides in the Indianapolis area. Candidates must already live locally. Relocation is not available.

Responsibilities

• Work on various supplier-related items, such as delivery, quality and other metrics.
• Track other metrics, such as supplier performance using scorecards
• Support and analyze cost savings and value analysis initiatives
• Benchmark pricing & price increases. Gather data which impacts cost & price.
• Coordinate with inventory, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain required
• Experience: 0–1 years experience (including internships) or up to 5 years experience in supply chain or purchasing (salary commensurate with skills and experience)
• Strong communication skills; comfortable speaking directly with vendor representatives, or supply chain people, internal engineering, internal quality, internal inventory.
• Exposure to RFQs, pricing discussions, or supplier negotiations is a plus but not required.
• Must currently reside within commuting distance of Central Indiana

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Merchandising Assistant with basic knowledge of jewelry products to support our growing wholesale team. This role is ideal for someone familiar with jewelry styles, materials, and trends who is looking to build a career in merchandising within the wholesale industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with product assortment, selection, and inventory tracking
• Maintain accurate product data including SKUs, descriptions, and pricing
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking with vendors and production
• Support order follow-ups and vendor communication
• Analyze sales trends and prepare reports using Excel
• Help organize and merchandise jewelry collections (rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy in product details such as materials, finishes, and classifications
• Assist with showroom setup or customer presentations as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus)
• Basic knowledge of jewelry (materials, styles, or wholesale/retail experience required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP a plus)
• Good communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Experience in wholesale or retail jewelry
• Familiarity with materials such as stainless steel, sterling silver, gold plating, gemstones, etc.
• Experience with inventory systems
• Understanding of SKU systems and product categorization
