Functional Purpose

Reviews reports for legal sufficiency and authority settlement agreements reached at the pre-complaint counseling stage and monitors compliance with those agreements.
2. Reviews DRS (Dispute Resolution Specialist) Inquiry Report to determine sufficiency for acceptance and dismissal. Processes formal complaints of employment discrimination and related amendments and consolidations for acceptance and dismissal through application of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission regulations and case law. Responds to appeals of final agency decisions dismissing complaints.
3. Assigns cases to and coordinates the activities of independent contractor EEO investigators. Reviews investigative plans, and draft and completed EEO investigations to ensure compliance wtih national quality standards and regulatory timelines.
4. Coordinates and reviews the work of independent contractors preparing draft final Agency decisions on the merits of EEO complaints. Issues final agency decisions on the merits of EEO complaints on behalf of the Postal Service and responds to appeals of these final agency decisions. Reviews decisions issued by EEOC Administrative Judges on the merits of EEO complaints and issues Notices of Final Action, either implementing or appealing those decisions. Our team of CRNAs at Weill Cornell provide patient-centered anesthesia for all types of surgical procedures, including cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery, pediatrics and obstetrics. Nurse Anesthetists administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical, obstetric and diagnostic procedures.
In addition to providing excellent care, our CRNAβs also provide one-on-one anesthesia instruction for Columbia University and Fairfield Universityβs Nurse Anesthesia Program. In April of 2018, we opened the state-of-the-art David H. Koch Ambulatory Surgery Center that has become the focal point of ambulatory surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. In 2020, we expanded the DHK Ambulatory Center to house the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Womenβs Hospital. Our CRNAβs have a continued commitment to providing patients with the most integrated and innovative patient care and use their expertise and top technology to consistently achieve surgical success rates and the nationβs lowest mortality rate.

This is a full-time position located at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. We offer 8, 10, 13 and 24 hour shifts. There is a requirement to participate in a minimal amount of OB call.

We are looking for an HR Generalist based in our Corporate offices, who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively to support our retail store locations across the region. This position will serve as a resource for field stores to support HR offices during times of absence, ensuring continuity of HR operations, while also contributing to special projects and initiatives within the Corporate HR department. Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a corporate-based HR resource for field store locations during HR offices absence, ensuring continuity of day-to-day HR operations including new hire system entry, employee relations, benefits administration and compliance
- Act as a liaison between field store management and the Corporate HR team, communicating policy updates, escalating complex issues, and delivering consistent HR guidance aligned with Company standards
- Travel up to 25% to field store locations as business needs dictate
- Support the management of the functions of the Human Resources Office
- Communicate and ensure consistent application of Company and Human Resources policies across field store locations
- Enter new hires into the HCM system and coordinate onboarding documentation and processes
- Maintain coworkersβ records in accordance with Company and government guidelines for reporting purposes
- Partner with store management to plan and ensure the successful orientation of new coworkers, providing remote support and resources to foster positive attitudes and improve associate retention
- Responsible for promoting, initiating, and maintaining all facets of benefits, compensation, and performance appraisal program
- Partner with on-site HR assistant and UKG analyst to ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll processing
- Handle all employee relations concerns with guidance from Corporate office
- Participate in and support special HR projects and initiatives assigned by the Corporate HR department
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelorβs degree, preferred
- Prior retail sales management experience, preferred
- 4+ years Human Resources Generalist experience preferred.
- Creative problem solving and confidentiality skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to learn HR computer systems
- Schedule is primarily Monday through Friday; however, some weekend support may be required based on business need
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to support field store locations as business needs dictate
