Role Summary

We’re hiring an On-Site QA/QC Manager to lead the quality program on brownfield hyperscale data center construction—where safety, uptime, and precision matter as much as speed. You’ll own electrical QA/QC planning and execution, drive rigorous documentation, and ensure installations meet strict client standards, contract requirements, and code while working in/around live critical environments. This role supports readiness for energization, commissioning, and IST with strong change control and zero-surprise turnover.

What You’ll Do

• Own and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) tailored for brownfield constraints (phasing, outages, access controls, change control).
• Build and manage electrical Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and hold/witness points—by system, room, and phase.
• Lead daily QA/QC field execution and verification against IFC drawings, approved submittals, vendor IOMs, RFIs, and method statements.
• Drive quality for the electrical critical path, including (as applicable):
• MV/LV distribution: switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, terminations
• UPS/battery systems: installation verification, clearances, labeling, startup readiness
• Generators/paralleling gear: interface readiness, documentation capture, punch closure
• Busway/PDUs/RPPs: supports, alignment, tap boxes, labeling, grounding/bonding

• Grounding & bonding: integrity verification and as-built accuracy
• Controls/EPMS/BMS electrical interfaces: device placement, labeling, point-to-point readiness (as assigned)
• Enforce brownfield-specific quality disciplines:
• Verify phasing plans and temporary power installs meet requirements
• Maintain as-built accuracy in real time due to live site impacts and field changes
• Coordinate quality gates tied to shutdown windows, cutovers, and turnover milestones
• Manage deficiency systems: NCRs, punch lists, rework prevention, corrective/preventive action (CAPA), re-inspections, and verified closeout.
• Partner tightly with Operations, Controls, Commissioning, and Safety to ensure quality supports uptime protection and controlled energization.
• Own electrical turnover packages: inspection reports, test results, redlines/as-builts, O&Ms, training logs, vendor startup documentation, commissioning support documentation.
• Provide weekly reporting: trends, repeat issues, risk register inputs, and 2–6 week quality look-ahead tied to phasing and outage schedules.

Qualifications

• 7+ years QA/QC experience on mission critical construction with strong electrical focus; brownfield/live siteexperience strongly preferred.
• Proven success running PQP/ITP programs, NCR/punch systems, and turnover documentation on fast-track or phased retrofits.
• Strong ability to interpret one-lines, schematics, control wiring diagrams, specs, and vendor documentation.
• Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 and typical hyperscale QA requirements (labeling standards, documentation rigor, readiness gates).
• Highly organized, strong communicator, and able to coordinate across multiple trades, vendors, and stakeholders in a controlled environment.

• Experience supporting cutovers, shutdown windows, energization planning, commissioning readiness, and IST
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E-related interfaces and verification of torque/labeling/test documentation programs

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

Job Description:

We are looking for a Machine Vision / Controls Engineer to join our fast-paced automation engineering firm. This role focuses on developing machine vision inspection systems while also supporting controls development and feasibility testing for custom automation equipment.

You will perform vision feasibility studies, camera/lens/lighting selection, and vision programming, primarily using Keyence Machine Vision systems. In addition, you will support PLC programming, system integration, and automation debugging on our custom machines.

This position works closely with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to integrate machine vision, robotics, motion control, and PLC systems into complete automation solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Independently operate and adjust numerically controlled Tape Laminator machines according to established shop practices and procedures.

• Prepare for job setup by reviewing production orders, work orders (W/O), and setup documents, ensuring access to blueprints and drawings.

• Verify that the correct materials and tools are issued and free from visible defects before starting work.

• Identify the type of machine setup needed based on drawings and work orders, including flat tape laminating machines and automated fiber placement machines.

• Check machine setups and parts completed by previous operators to ensure safe working conditions and job progress.

• Prepare machines by obtaining materials from storage and performing necessary processes before operation, such as rolling tackifier and laying fiberglass.

• Use precision measuring instruments, such as dial indicators, to align and level the layup table as required.

• Set machine coordinates and adjust offsets, tool heights, and laser settings using the controller keyboard or pendant.

• Run the machine to lay graphite plies, copper ampe plies, and perform hand trimming and rework as necessary.

• Move finished parts and tools using appropriate material handling equipment as required.

• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations and using personal protective equipment.

Compa Industries is searching for qualified candidates for a Radiation Control Technician 4 position at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.

Salary: $47 - $52/hr

Location: Los Alamos, NM (Onsite)

Citizenship: US citizenship Required

Schedule: This position may require 24/7 coverage, including rotating shifts and weekend assignments. Employees may be eligible for shift differential pay when assigned by their manager.

Clearance: Ability to acquire a Q Clearance

Impact

As a senior-level RCT 4, this position provides technical leadership and radiological support that directly impacts entire projects and group outcomes. Errors in judgment may result in serious radiological safety incidents, personnel injury, or regulatory violations, potentially leading to Laboratory fines under the Price-Anderson Amendments Act.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as primary point of contact for planning, coordination, and resolution of conflicting radiological control demands in challenging conditions
• Act as subject matter expert for radiological work control packages (RWCPs), ensuring compliance for all radiological work, including high-hazard operations
• Provide coordination of work area resources to support safe and efficient operations
• Anticipate and resolve problems, escalating issues beyond scope when necessary
• Offer technical supervision and leadership, providing review and guidance to junior technicians
• Demonstrate safety and compliance leadership through actions and mentorship
• Lift and carry radiation protection equipment; wear required PPE including respiratory protection
• Perform work outdoors and outside normal working hours as required

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to independently perform the full range of radiological support activities
• Proven expertise in tactical decision making in dynamic and high-hazard environments
• Strong background in DOE 10CFR835 compliance and radiation protection procedures
• Ability to develop creative and independent solutions to complex radiological challenges
• Skilled at coordinating across teams and providing technical leadership

• Broad knowledge across health physics and related disciplines
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers, technicians, and management
• Experience authoring or reviewing radiological work control packages (RWCPs)

Education and Experience Requirements
