The Role :
As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging operational requirements with FieldLogs' technical capabilities. You will work closely with customers, product, and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation, integration, and adoption of our platform.

Responsibilities

E3D Piping Designer – Pulp & Paper Manufacturing
Location: Remote
Since 1991, our client has delivered industry-leading detail design engineering services across North America, Asia, and South America. They specialize in intelligent 3D modeling, design data, and project documentation for commercial and industrial projects. They utilize AVEVA EngineeringTM technology — including PDMS and E3D — to enable multi-disciplinary teams to develop detailed, data-rich definitions of complex engineering systems.
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced E3D Piping Designer to support pulp and paper manufacturing projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed 3D piping models and construction drawings for complex industrial process systems — including digesters, evaporator islands, fiberline systems, recaust plants, and balance-of-plant (BOP) installations. You will work within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, civil/structural, and electrical/instrumentation engineers to deliver complete, accurate, and constructible designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D piping models using AVEVA E3D (Everything3D) software in accordance with project specifications, P&IDs, and engineering standards
- Produce construction drawings including plan views, sections, isometrics, and piping arrangement drawings
- Design process piping systems in compliance with ANSI B31.1 (Power Piping) and ANSI B31.3 (Process Piping) codes
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on the design and routing of piping for pulp and paper process systems, including:
- Fiberline and digester systems

- Boiler installations and power piping
- Scrubber, pollution control, and odor control systems

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial piping design, with at least 2 years using AVEVA E3D or PDMS
- Demonstrated experience on pulp and paper or other heavy industrial process projects
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and engineering specifications
- Working knowledge of ANSI B31.1 and B31.3 piping codes
- Experience producing isometric drawings and pipe support designs

- Serve as the primary executive interface between NXP and Automotive OEM, engaging senior leaders across engineering, purchasing, program management, and executive leadership
Revenue Growth & Design‑Win Leadership
- Drive global revenue growth and market‑share expansion at the Automotive OEM by identifying, qualifying, and closing design‑in opportunities across entire NXP portfolio including:
- Automotive MCUs and processors
- Analog and power management
- Sensors, radar, networking and connectivity
- Secure elements and software‑enabled solutions
- Lead long‑cycle automotive programs from architecture definition and RFQ through SOP, production ramp, and lifecycle management
- Champion competitive displacement strategies, positioning NXP at the system and platform level rather than component level to maximize NXP BOM in every design
- Understand customer pain points and guide internal teams to create effective messaging for product/system positioning
Automotive OEM Architecture & Program Alignment
- Align NXP’s portfolio with the Automotive OEM’s vehicle electrical/electronic architectures, zonal controllers, centralized compute strategies, and EV platforms
- Partner closely with the Automotive OEM’s engineering teams to influence early architecture decisions and secure platform‑level design wins
- Translate Automotive OEM’s technical and commercial requirements into clear internal priorities for NXP product roadmaps and investment decisions
Commercial Leadership & Negotiation
- Drive value-based selling by effectively positioning solution value and differentiation
- Lead global pricing strategy, RFQs, LTAs, and executive‑level commercial negotiations with Automotive OEM’s Global Purchasing & Supply Chain
- Ensure disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM accuracy for all Automotive OEM related opportunities
- Monitor Automotive OEM’s cost targets, sourcing strategies, and competitive dynamics to inform negotiation tactics and value positioning
Cross‑Functional & Matrix Leadership
- Orchestrate global teams including regional account managers, FAEs, product marketing, engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain
- Represent the Automotive OEM internally within NXP, ensuring alignment across business lines and rapid resolution of quality, logistics, or supply‑continuity issues
- Lead global account governance, executive reviews, and joint business planning sessions with the Automotive OEM
Executive Engagement & Trusted Partnership
- Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with Automotive OEM’s senior leadership
- Position NXP as a strategic technology partner, not just a component supplier
- Advocate the Automotive OEM’s priorities internally while balancing NXP’s commercial and strategic objectives
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (EE preferred)
- 12–15+ years of experience in automotive semiconductor sales, marketing, or global key account management
- 3+ years of experience in building and managing high-performance teams
- Proven success managing large, complex OEM accounts or similar global automotive manufacturers
- Experience selling MPU/MCU or other processor products or software/ecosystem preferred
- Executive‑level negotiation, influence, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Technically adept understanding of hardware and software and how businesses can leverage NXP to deliver better end products
- Understanding of competitive dynamics and strategies of key industry players, technical and other differentiated capabilities required to win in the marketplace
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
- Excellent communication, negotiating and closing skills with customers
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience working with Automotive OEM’s engineering and Global Purchasing & Supply Chain organizations
- Understanding of evolving automotive architectures and background across multiple automotive domains (ADAS, body electronics, infotainment, EV/powertrain, connectivity)
- Experience leading or mentoring global virtual account teams
LHH is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a unique opportunity to join an organization with a 100+ year history and has doubled in size in recent years. In this role, you will design and develop new, in-demand products, modify and improve existing designs, and manage key projects. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $85,000-95,000 per year plus bonus and includes affordable medical insurance options, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead new projects from beginning to end including the definition of the concept, designing, BOM selection, and manufacturing
- Design new products and modify existing products using CAD
- Create detailed drawings to match customer specs, material thickness, structural integrity, etc.
- Work closely with the engineering team, technicians, and production staff on the manufacturing floor who will put your vision and schematics into action
- Verify and validate new designs and conduct root cause analysis of quality issues during the design and beginning stages of the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with the sales and client services teams about client requests, custom projects, etc.
- Perform initial and ongoing product and performance reviews
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is highly preferred (with preference toward Mechanical Design)
- A minimum of 5+ years of product design experience using CAD is required
- Must have 2+ years of design experience specifically using SolidWorks 3D
- Must have experience with BOM, creating work instructions, and possess the ability to read blueprints
- Must possess strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills
- Must possess strong communication skills including the ability to effectively work as part of a cross-functional team
