Swope Health, a comprehensive federally qualified health center, is seeking their next Executive Vice President of Dental Services!

The Position

- The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Dental Services will be responsible for the overall direction and oversight of Dental Services across multiple locations throughout the organization and will ensure integrity, compliance, and growth across all dental programs functioning within Swope Health.
- Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the EVP will oversee approximately 40+ direct reports. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining operations within the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Program and will ensure that the program is properly aligned with local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
- This leader will be responsible for the overall improvement and expansion of dental services and must bring extensive strategic and operational experience to develop and analyze new expansion strategies to ensure that the organization may achieve optimal growth.
- The EVP will be expected to provide at least 8 hours of hands-on patient care weekly to ensure that they are able to effectively determine the appropriate projections for grown strategies, process improvement, patient care plans, and KPIs within the department. This will include providing/performing examinations, restorative procedures, extractions, and other dental treatments as needed.
- The EVP will analyze patient data and satisfaction surveys to enhance quality of care and patient experience while reviewing practices, maintaining infection control standards, and overseeing equipment, procedures, and safety.
- Manage administrative and operational systems, including scheduling, inventory, insurance processing, and after-hours emergency coverage.
- This leader will be responsible for gathering information to improve the quality of patient care. Additionally, the EVP will oversee quality initiatives to ensure survey readiness including The Joint Commission, HRSA, and other accreditation bodies.

Requirements

- DMD or DDS is required.
- Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry is required.
- Master's degree in public health and/or a minimum of three years of public health experience is required.
- A minimum of three years of management experience within a healthcare setting is required.

Functional Purpose

4. Coordinates and reviews the work of independent contractors preparing draft final Agency decisions on the merits of EEO complaints. Issues final agency decisions on the merits of EEO complaints on behalf of the Postal Service and responds to appeals of these final agency decisions. Reviews decisions issued by EEOC Administrative Judges on the merits of EEO complaints and issues Notices of Final Action, either implementing or appealing those decisions.
