AWS/CES is looking for an Industrial Electrician – 2nd Shift

$33/hour

Full time | Direct Hire position

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a manufacturing facility in Muskegon, MI. This is a 2nd shift, direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 work instructions and training
• Follow all job-related work instructions, safety procedures, and guidelines
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
• Repair and rebuild electric motors (excluding stator and armature rewinding)
• Troubleshoot and repair:
• Induction furnaces
• Mold units
• Sand systems
• Hydraulic systems
• Shot-blasting equipment
• Associated production equipment
• Repair electric overhead cranes and hoists (electrical and mechanical; no welding)
• Repair low-voltage and voltage control systems up to 480V
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Build conduit runs and lay out electrical cabinets
• Work with Allen Bradley/Rockwell software (RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLinx) and PLC-5 / SLC 500 hardware
• Enter and complete work orders using basic computer systems
• Obtain forklift, articulating boom lift, and scissor lift certifications
• Provide personal hand tools

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of manufacturing or industrial electrical experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Journeyman status or equivalent practical experience preferred
• Strong experience with low-voltage and voltage controls up to 480V
• Understanding of PLC controls
• Knowledge of electronic instrumentation, including:
• Temperature controllers
• Chart recorders
• I/P and P/I converters
• Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Manufacturing environment experience required

Chef De Cuisine

As a leader in a new opening environment, the Chef de Cuisine will be instrumental in hiring, training, menu execution, and establishing best practices that set the tone for long-term success. Key Responsibilities

• Execute a menu that has been designed for you, from Kalahari corporate.
• Overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring cleanliness, consistency, and efficiency.
• Leading, training, and mentoring culinary staff, from prep cooks to sous chefs.
• Managing food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships.
