Essential Job Functions
- Travels domestically and internationally to visits customers and potential customers to educate them on Japanese liquors including sake, shochu, wine, other liquors; provides information and necessary support to reach sales targets and increase the sales of the Company’s liquor products
- Supports sales associates across all sales divisions to achieve the monthly sales targets assigned by Sake Specialist Director
- Designs sales and marketing plans with sales teams to develop new accounts and achieve quarterly new account development targets
- Supports category manager to develop strategies to improve market share in all product lines
- Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building report
- Works closely with Sales Associates to understand their needs, and offers solution by educating their clients on how our liquor products and services can benefit their business
- Attends various Japanese Government promotional events
- Works closely with management and sales teams to prepare new account development plan, market/competitor analysis, sales performance and other analysis reports as required
- Plans, coordinates and attends sake, shochu, beer, and whiskey related events
- Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours
- Coordinates with Tokyo Mutual Trading and vendors to organize tasting events
- Create Social Media contents and maintain quality contents and strong engagements
- Participates in the weekly sales meetings
- Assists with Sake School events, classes and competition tasting
- Attends semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend

Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate with department manager and Purchasing Agent colleagues to manage relationship with suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance with contract terms.

Position Summary:
Uses professional risk management concepts and administrative workflows. Applies organizational policies and procedures to resolve routine casualty, property-loss and employee injury insurance and other risk management issues (e.g. fleet and driver management) or customer inquiries (e.g. Be Smart About Safety funding requests). Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. This position will promote, in all ways consistent with other responsibilities of the position, the principles of community goals established by UC ANR.
Department Summary:
Risk & Safety Services is the functional unit that supports safety, environmental management, emergency management, risk management and regulatory compliance for UC ANR. This requires consultation, communication, training, auditing, claims management, risk assessment and mitigation support for all units in ANR statewide. Our clientele are academic and staff employees, volunteers, and program participants, located at Cooperative Extension offices, Research & Extension Centers, Statewide Programs and Initiatives, and administrative units.
This position is a contract appointment that is 100% fixed and ends one year from date of hire with the possibility of extension if funding permits.
The home department is EH&S/Risk Services. While this position normally is based in Davis, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements for applicants living in the State of California at this time. Key Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, reviews and maintains criminal offender record information for ANR and all UCCE's across the state. Maintain access to and monitor Department of Justice (DOJ) systems to receive criminal record information for new and existing employees and volunteers statewide.
Utilize University and ANR policies and guidelines to assess criminal record information and perform investigative searches to verify identity of applicants and provide clearance results to County Directors or Human Resources. Monitor and follow-up on all corrective matters and prepare reports for ERM Analysts and Risk and Safety Director. Work with staff from other ANR programs and offices (such as Human Resources, 4-H Youth Development Program, Master Gardener Program and Nutrition Education Programs) to verify that criminal records checks have been completed.
Under direct supervision, provide support to Risk Analyst to process incident reports and administer basic insurance claims. Learn to analyze basic risk control programs to prevent losses and reduce premiums. Learn to implement and monitor basic control strategies and programs. Assist with administration of the Be Smart About Safety risk reduction program. Assist with documentation of
risk assessments of various ANR programs and activities.
Under direct supervision, review and report information about the license status for ANR employee drivers. Coordinate with ERM Analyst to utilize web-based tools to enroll drivers into the EPN system. Track status of driver violations and notify ERM Analyst 3 and 4 of adverse reports that may require action. As directed, verify that corrective actions are taken, when required. Coordinate with other ANR units to ensure that employee driver lists are up to date. Support Vehicle Collision Review Committee. Maintain vehicle fleet inventory and assist with annual Bureau of Automotive Repair Smog Check certifications. Assist with new vehicle procurement and registration. Assist with new vehicle leases.
As requested by Director or ERM Analysts, perform special projects such as reports/memos on Risk Services subjects. Provide follow-up to the customer to ensure that all issues, questions and needs are resolved to the customer's satisfaction in a timely manner. As requested, may participate in campus and
system wide committees to support ANR functions and pursue developmental courses to enhance performance in functional areas and career growth potential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.

A community based Senior Skills Trainer for our Personal Care Attendant Program. The Skills Trainer will educate consumers on how to successfully manage their consumer-directed hands-on care. The RN Clinical Charge Nurse is responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities of the unit on an assigned shift to assure successful safe delivery of care. Juggle multiple high-impact projects, troubleshoot in the test cell, and serve as the go-to authority for production teams and customers alike-making an outsized impact alongside a collaborative squad of engineers, sales pros, and suppliers.
Basic Duties
Develop exact electrical documentation
- Produce comprehensive wiring schematics, conduit schedules, and panel layouts in AutoCAD and Inventor for diesel and natural gas gensets, ensuring every reference, layer, and legend is unambiguous.
- Size and specify breakers, relays, PLC/HMI hardware, and interface circuits that integrate seamlessly with low to medium-voltage paralleling switchgear and DC control systems.
- Audit project drawings, vendor prints, and specifications against UL, NFPA 70/110, ISO, and customer standards; log variances and close them before release.
- Diagnose elusive startup, commissioning, and controls problems for technicians through root-cause-based recommendations that feed back into design libraries to improve the product.
- Translate application questions into concise recommendations and solutions and document in formal engineering notes.
- Maintain production continuity
- Follow standard protocols and proven design protocols to ensure consistent high-quality products that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Manage the submittal dossier
- Assemble, index, and track all drawings, studies, and data sheets through the approval cycle; document every revision for full traceability.
- Leverage Caterpillar engineering resources
- Retrieve and interpret factory application guides, PID data, and software updates; ensure the latest revisions are embedded in each project.
- Enable precise estimating
- Deliver dimensioned one-lines, BOMs, and labor take-offs to the Sales team so quotes reflect real scope, margin, and risk.
- Design for the exceptional case
- Apply first-principles analysis to bespoke components or control sequences required by unique site conditions or regulatory environments.
- Control the critical path
- Use tools and milestone checklists to keep engineering actions on time, document slippage causes, and propose corrective actions proactively.
- Adapt as requirements evolve
- When priorities shift, re-baseline drawings, calculations, designs, and priorities so the entire team works from a single source of truth.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (preferred) - or at least ten years of hands-on experience in the engine-driven power-generation industry or a closely related technology field with design engineering experience for 5+ years.

Technical Expertise
- Proficiency with Caterpillar toolsets (CAT ET, CAT Monitoring Software, SIS Web, TMI, EDDC) is highly desirable.

- Thorough understanding of relevant codes and standards-NFPA 70/110, NEC, NEMA, UL, IEEE.

The primary focus of this position is on project management of up to 20 different research projects in diverse fields of study within agriculture and natural resources. This range includes plant science, soil science, animal science, wildlife ecology, oak woodland ecology, fire science, rangeland management, and hydrology.
