Position Summary:

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Information Technology Engineer to support engineering databases and applications related to safety, design, configuration management, and change management. This is a BDS position located in Tukwila, Washington, and reports to the P-8 Data Management Team. This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.

The P-8 program is a high-visibility, advanced commercial derivative military aircraft program supporting the U.S. Navy and international customers. As an Information Technology Engineer, you will design, develop, and support engineering applications and databases that enable configuration management and engineering data integration, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across multiple engineering functions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and code configuration management and engineering applications using MS Access Front End database architecture.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization is seeking a Software Configuration Management Specialist (Associate or Experienced) for the Precision Engagement Systems programs team in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis Metro Area) to perform configuration planning, identification, change control, tracking, and verification, and facilitate program baseline management.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Change Control Board (CCB) process for software: schedule and facilitate CCB meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, track action items, and ensure changes are reviewed and approved before implementation.

• Produce and maintain program CM artifacts: CM plans, product/document identification schemes, baselines, and traceability records.

• Prepare and process change documents: Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Requests for Variance (RFV), Change Documents/Requests (CD/CRs), and related approvals.

• Oversee software build and release activities: plan, schedule, coordinate and execute builds and deployments; operate and improve build/release processes to minimize errors and cycle time.

About You

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions between SAP systems and various internal and external applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP integration tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), BTP, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs. This role is critical for ensuring data consistency, data exchange, system efficiency, and seamless business process execution across enterprise applications

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable integration solutions to enable data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems, including legacy applications and external platforms
• Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Build and configure integration flows, mappings, APIs, and other components using SAP's CIA and PIPO middleware tools. This often involves using protocols like REST, SOAP, SFTP, and OData
• Work with third-party vendors and external systems to implement external integrations (e.g., logistics, finance, BI systems)

Skills and Qualifications Required

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Integration development
• Hands-on experience with SAP CPI, PIPO and BTP
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of various communication adapters (e.g., IDOC, SOAP, REST, FILE, SFTP, JDBC, RFC) and API development
• Familiarity with data formats like XML, JSON, and EDI
• Expertise in ABAP, with a focus on integration-related objects like proxies, BAPIs, and IDocs

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $175,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.

The Sr. Logistics Reporting Specialist is responsible for playing a leadership role in helping to define our reporting strategy.
