Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. - Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention.

- Performs exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.

The center includes a 95+ bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 30+ private rooms, 10+ rooms for very small babies, and 10+ beds for babies needing neurological care. It also has 35+ labor, delivery, and recovery rooms, including Central Texas' first low-intervention birthing suites with tubs. There are 95+ postpartum beds, 20+ antepartum beds, and Cesarean section surgical suites. The facility offers 24/7 neonatology coverage, OB/GYN hospitalists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, lactation consultants, and a midwifery program. It is part of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development Maternal-Fetal Medicine Units Network and TexasAIM, and it also provides a high-risk pregnancy navigation and support program.
St. David's Surgical Hospital is part of St. David's North Austin Medical Center and is the first Level 4 Epilepsy Center in Central Texas for both adults and children. It has its own 24-hour emergency department, a medical-surgical inpatient unit, and a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) for patients ages 17 and under. The hospital is staffed with pediatric emergency physicians, pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists who are specially trained to care for children. It also includes certified child-life specialists who help kids feel more comfortable during their hospital stay. St. David's Children's Hospital offers many pediatric services, such as pediatric surgery, pediatric radiology (including imaging and interventional procedures), and pediatric anesthesia for surgical support. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering

Responsible for quality of patient care, operational management, and human resource management for Anderson County EMS. Ensure that quality standards are continually achieved by the EMS department by training, supervising, and motivating all staff, ensuring that adequate staffing is available at all times to operate the department, establishing and monitoring quality assurance programs. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, will collaborate with patients, customers, families, physicians, administration and associates to meet customer needs and expectations in a patient, customer focused environment. Supports the Emergency Preparedness activities and training at the Hospital, assist Administration in developing annual budgets, proactively monitoring expenses, adjusting services accordingly, and recommending strategies for upgrade and growth.
Under the limited guidance of the Anderson County Hospital Administrator and the County Commissioners, the EMS Manager is responsible for acting as the County EMS Director, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling significant operations, and maintenance functions of all operational aspects for Anderson County EMS. The EMS Manager is responsible for all affairs that affect the operations of the County EMS and is responsible for the advisement and assistance to other Departments that are related to County EMS operations. Performs a wide range of difficult to complex administrative activities related to operations and discretionary activities that serve to support an effective County EMS operation. The EMS Manager directs the formulation of department objectives, policies, and strategies. He/she is responsible for building and implementing guidelines for authorized agency plans, programs, and procedures to ensure effective management of the personnel, activities, and programs and to work toward the attainment of current and future county objectives. Responsible for recommendations regarding budget preparations as they pertain to the operations of the County EMS Division. Responsible for the expert, efficient and professional operations of the County EMS as well as the oversight of contractual compliance of EMS/Ambulance providers within Anderson County. As such works in collaboration with County Commissioners, County Emergency Manager, Sheriff Department, and county/local fire department chiefs. As a department of the hospital, the position reports to the hospital administrator and is subject hospital policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Knowledge of Capital Project Management tools (Project Initiation, Stage-gate, Risk Management, Cost Tracking, FAT/SAT protocol Development and Execution, Project Closure) is required.

The nurse manager 24/7 practice is accountable for the implementation of the vision, mission and values of Mayo Clinic and the Department of Nursing within defined areas of practice. The nurse manager 24/7 practice plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the operational, fiscal, and personnel activities within defined areas of practice to ensure the provision of quality patient care 24 hours a day. The individual contributes to the strategic planning process, and attainment of goals of the organization. The individual is responsible for one or more inpatient units based upon unit/area complexity and size of practice. The nurse manager 24/7 practice advocates for and allocates available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe, and compassionate nursing care based on current standards of practice. The nurse manager 24/7 practice is responsible for total work unit budget. The individual promotes shared decision making on the unit level. The nurse manager 24/7 practice acts as a resource and facilitates collaboration between nursing personnel and other health care disciplines throughout the organization and within the healthcare community. Qualifications
Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program, masters preferred. Minimum of three years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience required. Management experience preferred.
