Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $104,500 - $156,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. The Department of Family & Community Medicine at Albany Medical College is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join its faculty in an academic primary care practice, with a focus on resident and medical student education. The successful candidate will become part of an established community practice in beautiful upstate New York, based at Albany Family Medicine (Community Care Physicians). This position offers a wide range of clinical opportunities with privileges at both academic and community teaching hospitals.

Clinical and Educational Expertise. Our current faculty’s clinical expertise includes areas such as ambulatory primary care, geriatrics, sports medicine, outpatient procedures, inpatient medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, newborn care, gender-affirming care, opioid use disorder treatment, women’s health (with or without obstetrics), abortion care, and point-of-care ultrasound. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
