JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Provides clinical pharmacy services to ambulatory patients. Provides comprehensive medication management in multiple areas of practice, including but not limited to anticoagulation, perioperative management of anticoagulants and antiplatelets, anemia management with erythropoiesis stimulating agents, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, COPD, asthma and opioid use disorder. We provide specialty care from pediatrics to geriatrics, from neurological to women's health, from lymphedema care to wheelchair fitting, hand therapy and more. Our acute services are centered out of Samaritan's Regional Medical system, a 160 bed, level 2 trauma center. Our outpatient clinic features cutting edge equipment, custom splinting stations, a Sanet Vision Integrator, a therapy pool with an underwater treadmill and separate adult and pediatric gyms. We also offer outpatient services at the Pastega Regional Cancer Center. All outpatient services are one-on-one and feature therapist-driven treatment times.

Extremely limited call coverage.

Functions as a surgical team member in the operating room working under the direction and supervision of an RN. Assists in providing care to patients of all ages including pediatrics and geriatrics to assure quality nursing care.

The Operating Room of Surgery provides intraoperative care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. Summary
The pharmacy team at Samaritan Health Services is looking for a Traveling Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling activities. Other duties include performing a broad range of technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. This position is eligible for a $3.00 per hour float differential to be paid on hours worked. Travel will be between Samaritan Hospital Pharmacy sites in the mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon Coast.

Samaritan Pharmacy-Lincoln City is a community pharmacy located next to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. The pharmacy is open to any member of the public. The program provides expert, individualized care for athletes of all sports and ages.

Samaritan Occupational Medicine serves the health and safety needs of employers and employees in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties. Designed to meet the specific requirements within different occupations, Samaritan Occupational Medicine helps employers and employees gain control over work-related injuries and provides OSHA required medical surveillance and employer requested services.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Registered or Certified Medical Assistant
Current unencumbered Oregon Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic licensure.

In addition to acute and swing bed rehab, we offer a variety of outpatient services including sports and orthopedic rehab, pediatric rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance and dizziness rehab, wheelchair seating, and neck, back and extremity care.

Our acute services are centered out of Samaritan's Regional Medical system, the 160 bed, level 2 trauma center. Our newly built outpatient clinic features cutting edge equipment, separate adult and pediatric gyms, and an underwater treadmill. Additionally, we offer outpatient services from the newly constructed Pastega Regional Cancer Center.

Summary
The pharmacy team at Samaritan Health Services is looking for a Traveling Pharmacist to performs the duties of Pharmacist as prescribed by state and federal statutes as well as SHS policies. Duties include but are not limited to preparing and dispensing medication, assessing clinical status of patients (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics), providing drug information to the medical team and educating patients. This position is eligible for a $3.00 per hour float differential to be paid on hours worked. Travel will be between Samaritan Hospital Pharmacy sites in the mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon Coast. Shift times may vary and may include overnight shifts.
