Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OB/GYN Physician to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care that aligns with our values of respect, professionalism, and personalized patient partnership. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal, labor/delivery, and postpartum services.
- Deliver obstetric care for routine and, as applicable, high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform routine and advanced gynecologic care, including annual exams, contraceptive counseling, and management of menstrual, reproductive, and menopausal health issues.
- Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions; coordinate surgical care and referrals when appropriate.
- Perform in-office procedures and gynecologic surgeries, including laparoscopic, robotic and open procedures as appropriate.
- Collaborate with midwives, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to optimize patient care.
- Participate in shared call coverage

What Youβll Do
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions
- Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures in a fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting at $400,000 with bonus potential

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Β Responsibilities
- Practice medicine with physician supervision including conducting examinations and writing prescriptions.
- Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
- Assess patient status by obtaining health history.
- Order/perform laboratory diagnostic and other screening tests.
- Treat illnesses, give injections, suture wounds.
- Monitor therapies and provide continuity of care.
- Counsel patient/family on preventive health care.
- Participate in peer reviews, chart reviews, staff education, clinical guideline development and other continuing education.

The Department of Family & Community Medicine at Albany Medical College is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join its faculty in an academic primary care practice, with a focus on resident and medical student education. The successful candidate will become part of an established community practice in beautiful upstate New York, based at Albany Family Medicine (Community Care Physicians). This position offers a wide range of clinical opportunities with privileges at both academic and community teaching hospitals.

Clinical and Educational Expertise. Our current facultyβs clinical expertise includes areas such as ambulatory primary care, geriatrics, sports medicine, outpatient procedures, inpatient medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, newborn care, gender-affirming care, opioid use disorder treatment, womenβs health (with or without obstetrics), abortion care, and point-of-care ultrasound. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work alongside residents, pharmacists, and integrated behavioral health professionals.

Education is a cornerstone of our departmentβs mission, with faculty roles spanning both undergraduate and graduate medical education. Our 6-6-6 residency program holds ACGME accreditation with osteopathic recognition, and we are offering exciting opportunities in medical education.
