About the Role
What you will do
- Own the process for building payer relationships, identifying payer requirements for connection, translating requirements into user stories for the development team, coordinating implementation and testing, and ensuring the payer connection is successful in production.
- Fill the role of subject matter expert in relation to prior authorizations and notice of admission both in terms of payer requirements and overall business requirements to successfully manage prior authorizations between providers and payers.
- Identify and document the correct method of submission and status for prior authorizations to payers based on the payer requirement for specific service or CPT code including EDI 278 215/217, UMO payer portal, or Fax.
- Document payer portal prior authorization workflows for robotic process automation and work with the RPA development team to build and test new payer portal prior auth automations.
- Define and monitor key metrics for prior authorization connectivity, including transaction turnaround time, error rates, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting prior authorization processes and ensure compliance in all payer connections
- Become an expert in the upcoming Da Vinci FHIR prior authorization standards and work with development and business teams to ensure successful transition to FHIR
- Work with payers and providers to establish FHIR connections for Prior Auth
- Collaborate with the development team and clearinghouse team to establish EDI connections to payers
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, UX, and other cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet customer and business expectations.
- Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to elicit and understand business needs, pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Triage errors and issues that arise and work and collaborate with other teams to resolve as needed to resolve the issues.
- Prioritize the payer connection backlog based on business value, customer impact, and development capacity, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Apply critical thinking to streamline processes and work towards continual improvement and efficiency
- Maintain and prioritize the user story backlog and work with development and stakeholder teams to refine user stories to meet the Definition of Ready for development
- Work with the scrum team to ensure all tasks are completed and the committed objectives are achieved
What you will bring
- Subject matter expert knowledge of healthcare prior authorizations and notice of admission processes on the provider, payer, and UMO sides.
- 2+ years of experience working with prior authorization submissions and status to payers and UMOs

Pharmacy Technician (Front-End) Compensation The pay for this position is $18.50โ$21.50 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacy Technician (Front-End) Highlights 8 openings available Schedule: MondayโFriday, 7:00amโ3:30pm (CST) Location: Frisco, TX 75033 Hybrid schedule available after initial 60 days Overtime opportunities may be available on evenings/weekends Pharmacy Technician (Front-End) Responsibilities Enter new prescriptions for patients and process prescription exceptions Contact physician offices and patients as needed for verification or clarification Enter patient demographics and prescription data into processing systems Load insurance plans and coordinate benefits for new patients/referrals Participate in the review/audit of test claims for new referrals Support reorder processing and manage incoming/outgoing email communications Perform image indexing, AE report filing, and document organization Provide call-back and patient quality assurance support for pharmacists Support specialized programs such as ETT or Pharma requiring specific handling Assist with back-end tasks such as picking, packing, and manifesting as needed Pharmacy Technician (Front-End) Requirements Active and valid Pharmacy Technician License (state-dependent) High School Diploma or GED required Attendance is mandatory during the first 90 days Pharmacy Technician (Front-End) Preferences Previous experience with front-end data entry or pharmacy systems preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing Excellent communication and multitasking skills If you think this position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting! Enter medication orders/prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system Reading medication orders and prescriptions Prepare prescriptions for verification by pharmacist File pharmacy prescriptions in the appropriate files Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions Enter prescription data into pharmacy software Fill prescription books or new prescriptions Stock the pharmacy medications and supplies Obtain from the prescription file prescriptions Submitting medication inventory requests to pharmacist Reporting any issues with missing pharmacy medications and supplies medications Prepare medications under supervision of pharmacist Dispensing prescription medication and preparing for pharmacist verification (PV2) Assist the pharmacist in medication compounding Perform pharmacy and medication unit inspections Receive drugs and stock pharmacy Enter critical patient prescription data into pharmacy information system Performing basic pharmacy technician duties Entering new prescription in pharmacy software system Repackag medications for checking by pharmacist
Contributes to the development and testing of robotic solutions and supports the administration of artificial intelligence workforce systems under limited supervision.
Works independently and reviews the work of lower-level robotics professionals as needed.
This is a hybrid role, with opportunities in the Frisco and Charlotte locations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Ensures documentation of accurate, detailed business requirements based on project objectives and leads research on requirements that may involve data analysis, process, or development-oriented efforts.
Defines and documents technical and systems requirements supporting business requirements.
Participates in implementation and operational duties such as systems integration testing and communications.
Facilitates user acceptance testing and quality control testing for modified and new systems.
Forms partnerships with stakeholders and business integration to gather and create clear and organized requirements, specifications, and reporting solutions.
Collaborates with the database development team to update database attributes and implement end-to-end data solutions.
