ABOUT THE POSITION
LSC seeks an attorney to represent children in immigration proceedings. Our immigration clients are primarily monolingual Spanish speakers and also include Central American and Mexican indigenous youth as well as youth of African descent. Key areas of responsibilities include:
· Conducting legal screenings, client interviews, and factual and legal investigations, counseling clients, developing case strategies and case plans, and engaging in oral and written advocacy as part of representing children in immigration matters (primarily Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Asylum, T and U visa cases)

Qualifications:
· 0-4 years experience as a licensed attorney. SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary scale is non-negotiable and is based on years of relevant full-time experience as an attorney, ranging from $78,13 years). Compensation

Building Community and Belonging
- Develops, implements, and/or oversee client and in-office events and activities that enhance community building and belonging in the California offices, working in close collaboration with Event Planning and other strategic partners.
- With the guidance and support of the Inclusion Director, conducts Inclusion Team orientations for all new attorneys in the California offices, and conducts regular, consistent outreach to all associates in California to strengthen both relationships with associates and local efforts to enhance community-building and belonging.
- Works in collaboration with the Inclusion Director in implementing practices and processes that support the Firm’s commitment to equal opportunity for all lawyers. This responsibility will require extensive collaboration with Inclusion Team colleagues, Inclusion Committees, office leadership, and strategic partners in other departments.
Affinity Group Management and Support
- Manages and provides support in the California offices for all Firm Affinity Groups, which are open to all attorneys. This includes developing, implementing, and/or overseeing client and in-office programs and events, including for incoming and summer associates, that focus on building community and belonging and promoting learning and understanding; (b) organizing and managing meetings; and (c) addressing questions.
- Provides support at the Firmwide level to assigned global Affinity Groups. This includes collaborating with Affinity Group leadership in developing and implementing annual and quarterly plans and organizing and managing global Affinity Group meetings.
Inclusion Committee Management and Support
- Manages Inclusion Committee governance in California offices, including collaborating with Inclusion Committee leadership in developing and implementing plans; organizing and managing meetings; managing budgets; and coordinating resources.
- Manages local sponsorships, including coordinating approvals and overseeing logistics, such as internal and external communication and Firm attendance at related events.
Develop and Support Firmwide Inclusion Programming
- Manages content, communications, and production coordination for assigned Firmwide virtual programs for observance months. This includes collaborating with Affinity Group and Inclusion Committee leaders, researching and engaging speakers, and working in collaboration with strategic partners in other departments on all other aspects of developing and implementing virtual programs from beginning to end.
- Works in close collaboration with the Inclusion Director and Inclusion Specialist to develop and deliver global programming focused on belonging and inclusion and related programming at Firmwide meetings, such as new associate orientation. This responsibility requires extensive collaboration with the Inclusion Team, Firm leadership, Firm lawyers, and strategic partners in other departments.
- Works in close collaboration with the Inclusion Director and Inclusion Specialist to develop standardized workflows, policies, and processes that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Firmwide Inclusion programming.
Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hires, develops, coaches, and supervises direct reports, and conducts annual performance reviews.
- This position may require working non-standard hours, as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum of 5 years of related prior work experience
- Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web-based services and related applications
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to spot concerns and issues and to formulate and execute responses or solutions
- Demonstrated ability to marshal the resources of an organization across many departments to present excellent programs and effective initiatives

Summary
The E-Learning Tech Specialist is responsible for the design and implementation of e-learning offerings for lawyers and administrative staff to drive adoption of Technology capabilities and solutions.
This role oversees the strategy, design, development, and operation of e-learning programs or computer-based virtual courses, partnering with IT leadership and functional teams to translate identified organizational change management needs into training offerings, selecting and producing technology to advance end-user training, and preparing / maintaining courses on the Firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) platform.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Researches, develops, and implements e-learning methods and latest marketplace technologies for providing end-user training on a variety of technology topics.
- Partners closely with IT leadership and functional teams to design, develop, and deliver training to lawyers and staff across the Firm’s regional offices.
- Operates as part of IT project teams for high visibility initiatives that require change management capabilities.
- Creates implementation plans for e-learning programs, including communications for end users.
- Gathers information and course elements from IT SMEs and key stakeholders to scope and plan course content.
- Designs and develops learning materials, coordinates and reviews educational content, and incorporates current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula.
- Monitors and measures the Firm’s usage and adoption of learning offerings against pre-determined performance indicators to identify areas of improvement and adaptation.
- Works with selected vendors of e-learning technology to adapt the technology to the needs of the Firm.
- Helps to negotiate contracts with e-learning vendors by defining the nature of the work required.
- Serves as the liaison between e-learning vendors and IT subject matter experts (SMEs) to advance the design and development of e-learning solutions.
- Supports the deployment of learning programs, including uploading and updating courseware and curricula, training assignments, learner notifications and rules in the Firm’s LMS.
- Coordinates with IT directors and managers to test the technology.
- Utilizes knowledge of LMS capabilities to recommend delivery strategies that yield a rich, meaningful, and dynamic end-user experience.
- Utilizes LMS reporting capabilities and develops custom reports to assist with planning and managing the Firm’s IT training and development initiatives.

Qualifications
Education & Credentials
- College degree is preferred, ideally in instructional technology, education, computer science, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- Appropriate technical certification(s) and/or advanced learning are preferred (e.g., adult education, multimedia training materials development).
Knowledge & Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a large Law Firm setting, a comparable professional services organization, or a legal information services provider.
- Demonstrated experience working in a time sensitive environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities with little direction.
- Demonstrated experience with a Learning Management System as a developer or administrator.
- Experience with HTML and audio and video editing software.
