Komansky Children’s Hospital inpatient units include general pediatrics, pediatric stepdown, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Pediatric nurses at Komansky Children’s Hospital have a commitment to excellence, providing patient and family-centered care. As the PICU Clinical Manager, you will lead a Magnet designated nursing team and collaborate with the transformational leaders of the entire pediatric service line, working closely with the three units’ Patient Care Directors and fellow Clinical Managers.
This Clinical Manager position is for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center Komansky Children’s Hospital.
This is a full time 10-hour Night Flex shift position, four shifts per week (including weekends with flexibility to meet the needs of the unit).
Preferred Criteria:
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN experience
· Previous management experience
· Master’s in Nursing or related field
· American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board certification
Required Criteria
At least two years of pediatric experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current New York State RN license
BCLS Certification
PALS Certification
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates leadership competencies
