Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 yearly (gross)
(Equivalent to $24.04 – $26.44 per hour, based on 40 hours/week)
Signing Bonus:
- $500 after 30 days

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Administrator with strong accounting and bookkeeping experience to support our daily financial operations.

Responsibilities

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee restaurant and commercial buildout projects across South Florida. This is a local, on‑site role where Superintendents are assigned one project at a time from start to finish.
This is a true GC‑side Superintendent position — we do not self‑perform. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily site operations, and drive the project schedule to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day on‑site construction activities from mobilization through close‑out
- Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors (no self‑perform)
- Drive and maintain the project schedule to meet milestones and delivery dates
- Ensure quality of work, safety compliance, and adherence to plans and specifications
- Conduct daily site walks, inspections, and coordination meetings
- Work closely with Project Managers, executives, and ownership teams
- Maintain jobsite documentation, daily reports, punchlists, and close‑out activities
- Coordinate inspections and ensure projects pass required inspections
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a GC Superintendent
- Restaurant, retail, or commercial interior buildout experience required
- Experience running projects start‑to‑finish
- Strong subcontractor coordination and scheduling skills
- Ability to manage one project at a time with full ownership
- Familiarity with construction documentation and jobsite reporting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Local to South Florida or willing to work locally
Compensation & Benefits (Local Superintendent)
- Base salary: $115,000 – $125,000
- FWW overtime premium for hours worked over 40 per week
- Mileage reimbursement for travel beyond 20 miles round‑trip (IRS rate)

The Project Manager has bottom-line responsibility and accountability for the financial and technical success of the project(s) assigned. The Project Manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role oversees the project from beginning to end, including pre-construction, budget, costs, schedule, risk management, insurance, general performance and quality, and overall progress against the plan.
POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Pirtle’s Project Manager Collaborates with the project team to plan, schedule, organize, and direct the construction of large-scale education, residential, municipal, and commercial projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
· Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each, and assign individual responsibilities.
· Responsible for accounting functions, including managing the budget, tracking expenses, and minimizing exposure and risk.
· Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule.
· Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when the need arises.
· Coordinate efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.
· Monitor the progress of the construction activities regularly and hold regular status meetings with the Owner and subcontractors.
· Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
· Ensure project documents are complete.
· Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
· Serve as a key link with the clients and review the team's deliverables before passing them on to the client.
· Lead and communicate with all team members, subcontractors, and vendors to help them maintain the project schedule.
· Communicate any issues proactively and provide solutions in Pirtle's best interest to address these issues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. A four-year Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management
2. Minimum 8 Years of experience in construction projects.
3. Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.
4. Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Primavera, and construction management software, is desirable
5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities.
7. Strong sense of urgency and ability to react quickly to complex issues.
8. Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to confidently and decisively take action.
9. Team leader with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the estimating team, including Senior and Junior Estimators, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Oversee department workload, ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive bid submissions.
- Establish, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to estimating accuracy, bid volume, win ratio, profitability, and others pertinent to leadership strategic decision making.
- Develop and maintain standardized estimating procedures, templates, and workflows to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews and training to continuously elevate the department’s skill level and efficiency.
Estimating Oversight & Strategy
- Review and approve detailed takeoffs and bids prepared by Senior Estimators, ensuring conformance with drawings, specifications, and company standards.
- Lead pre-bid and internal review meetings to evaluate project risk, scope gaps, and overall strategy.
- Collaborate with project management and operations to ensure smooth project turnover and alignment of budgeted values.
- Identify emerging market trends and develop pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Review and assist in negotiating contracts and scopes of work with clients and general contractors.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable partnerships.
Relationship Development & Business Growth
- Foster, develop, and strengthen relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and key decision-makers.
- Actively network and represent Davco at industry events, pre-bid meetings, and professional associations to generate new opportunities.
Financial & Departmental Accountability
- Evaluate project outcomes to identify estimating improvements and lessons learned.
- Provide leadership input on company pricing models, backlog forecasting, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Participate in executive strategy sessions to align estimating performance with overall corporate goals.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical estimating experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Chief Estimator role(preferred).
- Strong background in commercial electrical construction; experience with civil, municipal, or government projects (preferred).
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills with experience developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships that lead to repeat business and market growth.
- Proficiency in McCormick Estimating Software (preferred), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of NEC codes, construction methods, and bid administration.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to develop and monitor KPIs.
