OBGYN Physician
✦ New
Salary not disclosed
Oregon City, OR 1 day ago

Surgery-forward. Team-first. Just outside Portland.

Build your skills. Grow your voice. Practice full-scope OB/GYN in a place where you’re truly supported.

At Women’s Healthcare Associates (WHA), our patients are our people. Across 12 clinic locations and six hospitals in the Portland metro region, we care for more than 50,000 individuals each year through every stage of life. We’re Oregon’s largest independent women’s health group—and we’re 100% clinician-owned.

Our teams include OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners, behavioral health clinicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, urogynecologists and strong operational support—so you can focus on what matters most: clinical excellence.

We’re hiring a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to join our Oregon City office—a team known for surgical strength, collaborative culture, and a shared commitment to meaningful, accessible care.

Why Oregon City?

Oregon City blends small-town warmth with access to everything Portland offers—great neighborhoods, strong schools, and endless opportunities to be outside. Many of our clinicians live in Oregon City, Lake Oswego, or West Linn and appreciate the balance of community and proximity.

Clinically, Oregon City offers something distinctive. Our hospital, Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, is investing in the da Vinci V—the newest robotic platform—so we can continue expanding minimally invasive options and meeting patients with more care choices close to home.

Here, you’ll find:

  • A close-knit team of seven OB/GYNs and seven CNMs who genuinely enjoy working together and backing each other up

  • A collaborative model where midwives manage most low- and moderate-risk OB care—allowing physicians to grow surgical skill while maintaining full-scope practice

  • The only group providing gynecologic surgery at our community hospital

  • A patient population that is socioeconomically diverse and often medically complex—rural patients, incarcerated individuals, and home birth transfers—where your work has real impact

This is a place where relationships matter—between colleagues and with patients.

Your Practice Environment

Balanced call structure. Our CNM partners help create a call model that allows physician time for GYN and surgical growth while preserving meaningful OB experience.

Surgery-forward growth. With strong gynecology volume and MIS-focused partners, you’ll build surgical confidence early. Dedicated surgical block time and OR mentorship mean you won’t just assist—you’ll operate and grow.

Robotic expansion. Our upcoming da Vinci V platform supports continued growth in minimally invasive GYN surgery.

Leadership that listens. Oregon City physicians play an active role in shaping organizational decisions—from advanced surgical technology to in-office nitrous-supported procedures and hysteroscopy. Your voice here matters.

What We Offer WHA OB/GYNs

  • A 4-day work week with flexible FTE options

  • Competitive private-practice compensation and ownership eligibility after three years

  • CME, malpractice coverage, parental leave, and generous 401(k) contribution

  • Dedicated surgical block time

  • The autonomy to build a week that reflects your strengths and interests

A Supportive Start: Built for Early Career Success

We know the transition from residency to practice—or even just to a new practice—is significant. In Oregon City, you won’t navigate it alone.

  • A dedicated physician mentor during your first year

  • OR and high-risk OB partnership as you build independence

  • Real-time consult access from experienced partners

  • Optional journal club and peer cohort gatherings for connection and shared learning

You’ll grow here—with support, with confidence, and with colleagues who want you to succeed.

What You Bring to the Table

  • MD or DO from an accredited program

  • Completion of ACGME OB/GYN residency (or expected prior to start)

  • Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN

  • Eligibility for Oregon licensure

  • DEA and hospital privileging eligibility

  • Malpractice insurability

Oregon City is a place where physicians can build skill, develop autonomy, and become leaders within a supportive, clinician-owned organization.

If you’re looking for a practice where you can grow meaningfully and feel genuinely backed by your team, we’d love to connect.

Salary Range/Equity Pay Analysis: Please note per the Oregon State Pay Equity Law your salary is determined based on the experience and education listed in your resume/application. It is strongly encouraged to include any transferable experience to ensure your offer is reflective of all directly related and equivalent experience. A little quiz: What do Batman and Robin, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Hermoine Granger and Harry Potter, and Venus and Serena Williams have in common?
Answer: Each member of the pair makes the other stronger.
That's how it is with an Orangetheory Studio Manager and Assistant Studio Manager (ASM). They're a doublet, a duo, a dyad. And while the manager is ultimately in charge, without that able-bodied sidekick, the studio wouldn't run nearly as smoothly.

Every day will be different but, you'll be representing the Orangetheory brand as you share the science of this workout you want everyone to love as much as you do.

Jobs That Make a Real Difference
About Us
Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
Our Philosophy
For us, physical fitness transcends weight loss and bikini season. Fitness is a way of life -- in fact, our brand purpose is to help people live longer, more vibrant lives. When we help our members to put in the work at our studios, they will experience benefits in their day-to-day. They will be physically stronger, but beyond that, they will notice improvements to their mood, cognition, sleep, and overall happiness and quality of life. This workout actually changes your body at the cellular level and has been known to help members through disease, chronic illness, depression, and even heartbreak and the loss of loved ones. They'll simply have the energy to play with their grandchildren, run a 5K, or go hiking. When we can help our members to take care of their body and mind, amazing things can happen. More Orangetheory, More LIFE
