YOUR ROLE

Legal Counsel, Labor and Employment will provide counsel to management and Human Resource professionals on a broad range of legal issues including, but not limited to, employee and labor relations; discipline and terminations; and internal investigations. Additional responsibilities include facilitating legal training and managing outside counsel on employment litigation matters and administrative charges.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Qualification:

  • Law degree and bar admission in Texas
  • Experience Minimum six (6) years of labor and employment law experience at a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel.

Preferred:

  • Eight (8) to twelve (12) years of labor and employment experience at a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel
  • Previous experience in logistics or supply chain industry

Experience

The Office of the Attorney General is seeking attorneys licensed in Texas to join the agency's Healthcare Program Enforcement Division to engage in the exciting and fulfilling work of litigating whistleblower lawsuits filed under the Texas Health Care Program Fraud Prevention Act. Job Summary


At VitalCaring, our team members transform lives and foster hope through genuine caring. As a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse, you will provide direct, compassionate nursing care to hospice patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You play a critical role in managing comfort, supporting families, and ensuring every encounter reflects our values—trustworthy, capable, compassionate, proactive, and called. This role is essential to delivering dignified, high-quality end-of-life care.


Essential Functions


Patient Care



  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, including specialized duties related to end-of-life care.
  • Implement current nursing practice following a comprehensive assessment and the established plan of care.
  • Assess and educate patients and their families/caregivers on diagnosis, care needs, and symptom management.
  • Use and prepare equipment and supplies safely and effectively, consistently adhering to aseptic technique.
  • Deliver appropriate pain and symptom management; monitor patient response to treatments and medications.

Communication & Coordination



  • Document all care accurately and timely in alignment with the plan of care.
  • Participate in care coordination and promptly report needs requiring involvement from other disciplines (HHA, OT, PT, MSW, ST, Dietician) to the RN and/or Clinical Care Manager.

Additional Responsibilities



  • Participate in ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Contribute to quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI) activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications



  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or vocational nursing program.
  • Minimum of three years of nursing experience preferred; home health, community-based, or medical-surgical experience ideal.
  • Current state LPN/LVN licensure.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated adherence to professional nursing standards and practices.
  • Licensed driver with a reliable, insured automobile meeting organizational requirements.
