Youth and School Based Clinician
Available start date of Mid-May 2026
A great opportunity to come and join our Riverside family as a Youth and School Based Clinician at our Milford CBHC!
The Youth and School Based Clinician will provide direct clinical assessment and clinical intervention for child, adolescent, young adult, and adult individuals of the program in both the CBHC outpatient component and a school-based setting. The Clinician will spend approximately half of their time in each setting. The Clinician will offer support and family therapy to youth and their families. Facilitates an integrated team approach in the consumerβs care plan with inclusion of CBHC services provided by Youth Peer Specialist, Family Partner, nursing, and psychiatry. In collaboration with the consumer and relevant family/guardians, will develop individual treatment plan for psychotherapy needs as well as a service plan which coordinates and integrates all the components of the CBHC team members. The school based work will also include both these direct clinical services as well as consultation and extended wellness services to the school community.
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours
Pay Range: Depending on Productivity and Licensure
- Unlicensed Clinician - $68,958.50 - $74,263/salaried
- Independent Licensure - $72,141.20 - $77,445.70/salaried

Peer Specialist - Mobile Crisis Intervention
Peer Specialists help to make Mobile Crisis Intervention Services welcoming, comfortable, supportive, and responsive to individuals who utilize them and their families. Using their personal experience and knowledge of navigating the greater system of care, Peer Specialists provide consumers with support, information, and assistance in connecting with and obtaining community-based resources and services.
In this vital role, the Peer Specialist will:
- convey hope and provide psychoeducation, including information about recovery, rehabilitation, and crisis self-management
- assist in arranging the services to which the individual is being referred after the MCI intervention, and they shall work with the person and family to support them during the transition to those follow-up services
- provide similar services in the MCI service and Adult CCS as staffing and time permit
All Peer Specialist staff will receive training in recovery-focused peer support for Substance Use Disorders (SUD), who shall assist in interventions with individuals/families presenting in crisis due to substance use disorders. They will support explanation of the process to access services, availability of self-help resources, and provide follow-up for those who may or may not be ready to accept help at the time of initial contact.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
- Monday through Friday, 1st shift
Pay Rate: $22.27/hour
- additional $1 for CPS
- additional $2 for CARC

Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy Certificate Preferred
Riverside is seeking a passionate medical assistant to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) team in Milford! This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated behavioral health professionals!
The Medical Assistant is responsible for managing the flow of information, communication, and data in the CBHC administrative office for those tasks related to supporting medical staff. The Medical Assistant will provide hands on support with Medication Assisted Treatment, (MAT) follow up, phlebotomy, and the administration of EKGs.
Among other assigned tasks, the Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
- Take medical related calls, screen and direct calls to the appropriate individuals.
- Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate program/individual.
- Request medical records from outside sources as needed
- Complete all required nursing administrative documentation in a timely fashion and maintain consumer record files in accordance with quality assurance standards
- Assist psychiatric and nursing staff by scheduling appointments for medication visits, nursing visits, and assisting with medical documentation.
- Provide support to Psychiatrist and NPs by communicating with clients served regarding scheduling, referrals, questions and problem solving.
- Obtain vital signs and metrics as needed and requested by medical staff
- Maintain temperature logs as needed for refrigerated medications.
- Collaborate with coworkers in sharing workload.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
- Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm

Assistant Program Director

The CBHC Assistant Program Director (APD) is responsible for managing all of the ongoing treatment and services of the CBHC Component Service and the Outpatient Program. The APD directly supervises the CBHC treatment team managers and Outpatient supervisor(s). House Manager - Congress House

Riverside is seeking a passionate Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS) to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) team! This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated behavioral health professionals!
The Crisis Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing advanced skills in trauma-informed crisis intervention and de-escalation, monitoring of the safety and security of the facility, and coordinating response to urgent and emergency situations. The CIS provides a therapeutic, calming, recovery-based, and pro-active presence in program. The CIS will assist leadership with safety drills, safety protocols, facility-related initiatives, may perform other person-served related support as interest and experience allows.
Note: CBHC regulations require βsecurityβ positions 24/7, this role is a therapeutic, engaging presence and not a typical security guard role.
The Crisis Intervention Specialist may perform other person-served related support as interest and experience allows including, but not limited to:
- Modeling and teaching skills for development of positive relationships and negotiation of conflict
- Providing a calming presence in and around the facility supporting families and youth in conflict or crisis while onsite, while monitoring the safety of persons served, employees, and the facility
- Assisting CBHC leadership in ensuring that safety drills (e.g. fire, medical, behavioral health) are held and documented as per regulation and that required fire protection and suppression equipment is present and in good working order and also ensuring the maintenance of program sites to minimize fire hazards
- Taking lead in ensuring maintenance and cleanliness of physical plant is adequate and reports to Senior Director and/or facilities are aware of any concerns.
- Responding to medical and psychiatric emergencies (e.g. opioid overdose or psychiatric symptom escalation) utilizing medical code protocols such as calling a code, administering naloxone, and administering CPR/first aid
- Assisting with transportation to/from CBHC and the CCS site using agency or personal vehicle
Pay Rate: $25.46/hourly

The Manufacturing Engineer II supports the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes.
