As a Supported Living Service Case Coordinator, you will assist consumers with a variety of services and trainings to enable them to live independently in their community. Our program serves people from Boston to Southeastern Massachusetts. Case Coordinators are the difference in the lives of our consumers on a regular basis. Tempus takes a person-centered approach to all services.
Essential Functions
- Develop Supported Living Service Plans
- Maintain communication with the Personal Care Attendant (PCA) (or other service) provider.
- Assist consumers in the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of their Personal Care Attendants, sign onto the PCA program Service Agreement if surrogacy is required. Be thoroughly detailed in the understanding of this document and assist consumer comply also.
- Assist Consumers in obtaining housing if needed.
- Assist consumers in setting up and maintaining appropriate records regarding Personal Care Attendants (PCA), finances and medical issues.
- Assist consumers with accessing community resources such as health care, recreation, transportation and adult education.
- Encourage and assist consumers in the development of relationships with other members of the community.
- Maintain confidential records according to program guidelines.
- Train consumers annually on human rights and how to obtain assistance on human rights violations.
- Assist consumers with Transitional Assistance services through the Money Follows the person (MFP) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) waivers.
- Follow MRC Community Living Program manual standards, as well as other regulatory documents related to the position.
- Must report all suspected incidents of consumer sexual/physical abuse and neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (DPPC).

Required Education
- Bachelor's degree and/or at least two years' experience serving people with disabilities
Competencies
- Familiarity with community services, the ability to understand and implement independent living philosophy and the ability to relate and empathize with people with disabilities and help them maximize their lives is required.

Preferred Experience
- Training and supervisory experience is helpful.
- Significant experience in Personal Care Attendant (PCA) services, case management services, and disability service delivery systems is preferred.

The Tempus Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Compliance specialist has a key role in supporting the state and the agency partners in ensuring PCA program participants are compliant with the use of EVV and the EVV policies. This role is responsible for implementing and overseeing the Tempus FI aspects of the EVV Compliance policies set forth by MassHealth and ensures Tempus FI satisfies contract requirements.
This role involves a broad range of tasks including: preparing compliance reports and dashboards for the state, agencies and internal teams, monitoring EVV compliance metrics and supporting CMS-related reviews and compliance assessments, overseeing/initiating needed changes to the PowerBI dashboard, researching non-compliance cases, assisting with corrective action plans and/or process improvements, and communicating across departments, with MassHealth and other contracted agencies. - Create lists for Everbridge compliance messages and collaborate with IT to monitor the process.
- Send address list to Mailing Department for warning letter preparation
- Manage all incoming/outgoing EVV compliance-related emails and escalating any observed trends or case specific
Training
- Collaborate with the training and knowledge management teams to ensure EVV guidance is accurate and contract aligned
- Provide EVV Compliance training to Tempus operations teams and other individuals as necessary
- Review EVV job aids, FAQs, scripts and training content for compliance accuracy
Risk Management
- Identify compliance risks and recommend process improvements to strengthen compliance and reduce/eliminate inefficiencies.

Requirements

- Possess a current valid driver's license

The Senior Contract Manager is responsible for provider specialties that are more complex in reimbursement, benefit application, and/or larger networks.The Senior Contract Manager will function as point person for provider recruitments; determining network needs and evaluating prospective providers. The Senior Contract Manager will be responsible for working on contract negotiation and administration; adhering to plan reimbursement strategies. This individual will ensure that contract terms are consistent with the organization's established legal and financial guidelines. Additionally, the Senior Contract Manager will serve as a mentor; acting as a resource and assisting with training other team members. The Sr. Contract Manager will participate and will contribute to cross-divisional projects to ensure compliance and will collaborate on operational improvements and consistencies both internally and externally.
Job Description
- Develops, negotiates, executes and manages provider contracts for services and reimbursement issues with ancillary providers. Participates in all operational aspects of contractual agreements. Develops and maintains key provider relationships.
- Effectively manages the enterprise contractual structure with providers across networks and lines of business. As well as represent the ancillary providers within the organization to include key network issues relevant to plan strategy and operations.
- Collaborates with analytic staff to develop medical budget, evaluate cost trends, and formulate reimbursement models and/or program design. Monitors marketplace trends and new reimbursement methodologies. Is well versed in publicly reported data on reimbursement, market competitors, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluates the demand for assigned services and identifies areas of network deficiencies or increased service demand for network expansion. Determines the unique service capabilities of providers in the network. Designs and implements tools for communicating these capabilities to other departments and membership.
- Identifies, evaluates, and implements new programs for improving medical cost management and/or administrative efficiency.
- Represents Ancillary Network Contracting team in internal and external meetings. Prepares and delivers presentations with providers and to partner departments.
- Maintains industry-specific knowledge and relationships with key providers and industry groups,

Salary Range

The actual salary for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope and complexity of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; as well as internal equity.
