Job Description:
Assemblers/Testers perform sub and final assembly of a variety of products, often using assembly jigs and fixtures to maintain tolerances. Testing requires the set up and monitoring of automated assembly or test equipment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, ideally with some experience with the assembly of machined components. Strong candidates will be trained.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and use of simple mathematical skills.
  • Ability to concentrate daily, which involves; mental attention, finger dexterity, eye/hand coordination, and concentrated visual acuity.
  • Extra credit if you have used precision measurement instruments, specialized trade tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform sub and final bench assembly of a variety of standard products.
  • Work from simple drawings, routing sheets, and work instructions to apply the specific methods and procedures of each assembly or test operation.
  • Set up and use bench-type power and hand tools, and/or simple machine tools to perform operations and assembly functions.
