We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop, evaluate, and design plant projects and modifications that improve efficiency, reliability, and safety. You will manage capital projects end-to-end, from budgeting and scheduling to supervising contractors and internal teams, while ensuring compliance with environmental and mechanical integrity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development, design, and execution of mechanical projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical integrity programs.

SUMMARY: Promote the sales of segmental retaining walls, pavers, and related landscape products by establishing and maintaining accounts with landscape contractors, retail centers, and home and garden centers; by consulting with engineers and architects, state and local governmental agencies, home builders, and homeowners; and by attracting new customers and servicing current customer needs. This is a full-time salaried role, and hours may fluctuate based on business needs with some Saturdays required during peak season.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Promotes a culture of safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s degree preferred but not required
• Knowledge of retaining wall products and related construction materials along with previous experience in sales, merchandising, advertising, or market analysis required
• Basic construction blueprint and site/landscaping layout reading skills required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to work without direct supervision; adapt easily to a diverse customer base
• Requires sound decision making and good math skills
• Basic operating knowledge of computers, calculators, and audio/visual equipment. Industry specific software experience a plus!

• Position requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and vehicle operating ability with good driving record to maintain insurability.

Physical, mental, and environmental requirements: May need to occasionally lift retaining wall block weighing up to 80 pounds each. Must be able to set up demonstrations and seminars requiring moving and lifting audio/visual equipment and arranging displays with products weighing 10 – 110 pounds. We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Useful design platforms include DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or client-specific drafting systems.
