Project Manager – Capital Equipment
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading capital equipment projects involving a broad range of engineered filtration equipment and media. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role provides technical and project leadership from project kickoff through construction and commissioning. The Project Manager works cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Testing, and external vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in full compliance with commercial and technical specifications.
This role leverages project management tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to drive execution, manage risk, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and uphold company core values, safety standards, quality expectations, and customer satisfaction.
- Support project handovers, including order setup, budgeting, purchasing, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.
- Translate project specifications into clear execution requirements for internal teams and external partners.
- Establish project budgets, schedules, and execution plans following project handoff.
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify and mitigate cost, scope, or schedule risks.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Collaborate weekly with execution teams to maintain accurate and achievable project plans.
- Manage pre-qualified subcontractors and suppliers to ensure contract and technical compliance.
- Review and approve documentation for release to manufacturing in alignment with project plans.
- Oversee material procurement and coordinate field service and commissioning activities.
- Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated to subcontracted services.
- Maintain complete project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, PCOs, and drawing records.
- Reforecast and rebudget projects as changes occur to support accurate reporting.
- Maintain contract documentation and record-keeping in accordance with company standards.
- Apply strong technical judgment to support confident, timely decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement within the project management function.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsible for directing and supporting warranty administration, warranty analysis, problem resolution, and product improvement programs for all Astec Industries – Infrastructure Solutions Group products.
Deliverables & Responsibilities
- Oversee the organization, management, & daily operations of the warranty functions.
- Monitor and review in-process claims to ensure claims are being addressed and resolved.
- Administer and enforce all warranty polices.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience.
- Develop and track performance metrics.
- Establish and continually improve warranty claim processing and adjudication processes
- Leverage warranty analysis to identify, implement, and manage tools, applications, and processes to clearly identify trends and patterns in data. Ensure information is properly visualized and communicated to divisional stakeholders for resolution.
- Lead activities associated with Problem Recognition processes, including administering the Non-Conforming and Corrective Action (NCCA) system, Corrective Action Request (CAR) creation, administration, and reporting.
- Establish, administer, and clearly communicate standard and extended warranty policy. Monitor competitor’s offerings and with Senior Leadership Team guidance adjust as required.
- Develop and champion processes to leverage analysis of various data streams with the outcome of establishing specific Product Improvement Programs intended to improve the customer experience.
- Lead, develop, and administer Returned Goods Analysis (RGA) processes.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or applicable field

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. About the Role
This is a Founding Account Executive role (full-cycle sales).
You will work directly with the founder every day to help build the sales engine for Harmony from the ground up.
This is not a traditional SaaS AE role.
Our sales process involves deep research, cold outreach, factory visits, relationship building with owners and operators, and closing complex deals that transform how factories run.
You will be responsible for the entire sales process, including:
• Building your own pipeline
• Prospecting and outreach
• Running demos
• Nurturing relationships
• Visiting factories in person
• Closing deals
We move fast and we do things that do not scale. We cold call. We show up at factories. We send custom gifts. We meet operators on the floor.

Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic, process-driven Preconstruction Manager to be a key foundational leader in our growing preconstruction department. This role is tasked with collaborating with our team to establish and oversee best practice preconstruction processes. A&C is seeking a *Licensed Civil Engineer* to join our Civil Engineering Department at our office located in Watertown, NY.
The successful candidate will work with our Civil Engineering team working on designs related to land planning, site, roadway, and utility infrastructure design. Being a relatively smaller design firm, this position will also include such duties as construction inspection, AutoCAD drafting, project design, preliminary design markups, design calculations, report preparation, client meetings and board meeting presentations. Within this position you will work managing projects under the general guidance of a principal.
This position will require fieldwork travel.

*Desired Skills and Qualifications:*
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required
· Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
· 6 - 12 years of qualifying civil engineering design experience
· Proven technical background in civil engineering
· Ability to develop proposals to help obtain future work
· Successful experience in site design, roadway design for subdivisions and local roads, drainage analysis and design, development of plans, specifications and cost estimates.
· Ability to produce contract documents and project management experience
· Strong verbal and written communication skills

A&C is committed to offering fair and equitable compensation. The pay range listed is an approximation of our good faith effort to provide an anticipated wage range. The specific salary offered is dependent on the candidate’s relevant experience, education, certifications, and licensure.
