We're hiring multiple full-time faculty to deliver Golisano Institute's integrated business curriculum to Buffalo's inaugural cohort of up to 75 students. This founding faculty team will collaborate to create an innovative and rich, applied learning environment and establish the culture for future cohorts and colleagues. Our faculty want to teach students at a pivotal point in their professional and personal development, advise and mentor a diverse set of students, and continually develop their own skills, especially their teaching practice, to advance student success.


This role requires collaboration across locations with a diverse community of students, colleagues, and external partners. This full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Medium and Heavy Truck Technology (MHTT) presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the exceptional training and pedagogy at the College.

The Transportation Technologies department offers various degree and certificate options to prepare students to be successful technicians in the transportation industry. The department programming focuses on automotive service technology, carbon-based alternative fuels, electric vehicles & hybrids, heavy vehicle & truck repair, and Toyota technician training. All programs prepare students to pass the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) examinations and professional manufacturer certifications.

Medium and Heavy Truck Technology (MHTT) is an A.A.S degree program that enables students to gain hands-on, practical knowledge and service of medium and heavy vehicle and equipment platforms, including trucks, buses, tractor-trailer systems, and off-road equipment. The courses are both aligned and in compliance with the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (ASEEF) to provide industry-certified quality of instruction and accreditation. MHTT courses are also part of two professional certificates offered at the College which provide a practical skillset and allow a student to gain quick entry into the industry.

  • Key responsibilities
  • The Instructional Designer – HR Technology & Workday Enablement is responsible for designing and developing learning experiences, including instructor-led and eLearning courses, microlearning, and job aids, while managing logistics and ensuring a smooth learning experience for participants. This role goes beyond course development and requires comfort operating in complex, fast-moving transformation environments where requirements evolve and influence is critical.
  • Design and deliver learning solutions that support HR technology transformations (e.g., Workday HCM, Payroll, Talent), including role-based enablement for end users, people leaders, HR partners, and support teams
  • Partner closely with HR, HRIS, IT, Change Management, Communications, and vendor teams to understand complex end-to-end process, translate system design, and future-state workflows into effective learning experiences for HR, Payroll, Manager, and all employee audiences
