The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of white-collar and complex civil litigation matters. The candidate should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment completing tasks such as cite checking briefs, e-filing, maintaining firm calendar and electronic case files, assisting with document productions, conducting research, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. - Assist attorneys with all stages of discovery including managing incoming/outgoing document productions such as review/tag documents on Relativity, quality check production files, create/update production trackers, and correspond with Relativity vendors, as well as preparing for and attending depositions.
- Support attorneys throughout all stages of state and federal trials as well as arbitrations and other evidentiary hearings such as preparing exhibits/exhibit list, pre/post-hearing briefing, exhibit printing, courtroom logistics, etc.
- Handle administrative tasks such as order/stock supplies, print/scan documents, send out mail, correspond with IT vendor, etc.
