The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a pain management physician who wants to focus on high-quality patient care and procedures without the administrative burden of running a practice. You will work alongside experienced chiropractors, physical therapists, and rehabilitation professionals in a collaborative environment designed to deliver long-term results.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Perform interventional pain management procedures in an ambulatory surgical center
• Develop and oversee evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborate with PTs, chiropractors, and other providers to create integrated care pathways
• Review patient medical histories and perform physical, neurological, and orthopedic exams
• Document care in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards

Education & Training

This is a part-time (Wed/Thurs + Sun), on-site role located in Fox River Grove, IL, for a Lead Medical Assistant specializing in interventional pain management at the Pain & Vascular Institute.The Lead Medical Assistant will manage daily clinical operations, assist with care coordination, and liasion with insurance companies working prior authorizations/appeals. Responsibilities also include preparing examination rooms, maintaining patient medical records, administering patient education, and adhering to clinical protocols and procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to delivering care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and at least 1+ year of prior experience in pain management.

As the Surgical Pain Territory Manager, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding the sales objectives of the Surgical Pain products. These products include On-Q and Ambit Pump Pumps. The Territory Manager will work with Health Care Professionals and business leaders in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinics in a geographic territory. The Pain Physician provides specialized medical care to patients experiencing acute or chronic pain, focusing on restoring function and improving quality of life through interventional procedures, rehabilitation, and medication management. INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MEDICINE

BRAINERD, MN

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Active out-patient Interventional Pain management practice comprised of consultation clinic and interventional procedure clinic.
• Physicians will evaluate and develop comprehensive treatment plans for our new and existing patients, and identify the specific conditions and patients’ needs to ultimately decrease pain and increase function.
• Collaboration with a full continuum of Neuromusculoskeletal specialists including Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, and all medicine subspecialties.
• Outpatient therapy is provided by therapists who sub-specialize in neuro, pediatric and musculoskeletal pain.
• Practice could include performing EMG’s if desired.
• Potential Ownership in Ambulatory Surgery Center
• This will be a team of two physicians when hiring is complete

REQUIREMENTS

·         BC/BE in Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Pain Medicine or BC/BE in PM&R with fellowship training in Pain Medicine or BC/BE in PM&R

·         Candidates should have competency in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural/facet injections, advanced interventional pain techniques, spine RFA, and radiographic imaging. SCS, Ultrasound and EMG expertise is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation

$511,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
