Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Successfully handle and deliver packages on time 

  • Safely drive and perform safety inspections on an Amazon branded vehicle

  • Deliver SMILES and provide excellent customer service and satisfaction

  • Lift packages up to 50 lbs

About the Role:

Summary The Field Service Technician performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, onsite bolting, heat treating and/or field machining. About the Role:

The Sheet Metal Welder is responsible for fabricating, modifying, installing, and repairing sheet metal components used in a chemical plant setting. This role requires advanced welding and metal-fabrication skills, strict adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work within operations that include hazardous materials, confined spaces, and process-safety protocols..

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certificate preferred
  • 2+ years sheet metal welding and fabrication experience (chemical or industrial manufacturing environment strongly preferred)
  • MIG/TIG proficiency; AWS certification preferred
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and plant schematics

About the Role


This role requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of construction processes, and experience with energy-efficient, high-performance, or Passive House (PHIUS) construction standards.



Responsibilities



  • Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and milestones.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
  • Review blueprints and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of design intent, including high-performance envelope and air-sealing details.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7–10 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial construction, particularly in urban settings.
  • Experience with Passive House, PHIUS, or other high-performance building standards strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of building science principles, including air sealing, thermal continuity, moisture management, and energy modeling coordination.
  • Experience coordinating envelope testing (e.g., blower door testing) and working with HERS raters or PHIUS verifiers is a plus.
