You’ll maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems that keep production moving across multiple industries — from medical and food packaging to aerospace.
This role exists to sustain uptime, drive reliability, and ensure every piece of equipment in the plant performs at its best.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance and on-demand repairs on production and facility equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues using schematics, meters, and diagrams on systems including AC/DC motors, gearboxes, compressors, drives, and pumps.
Fabrication & Repair: Use shop tools (drill press, grinders, welders, torches, etc.) to modify or repair parts and components safely and efficiently.
System Optimization: Analyze root causes of failure and develop process improvements that extend equipment life and reduce repeat maintenance issues.
Documentation & Safety: Complete maintenance logs, follow lockout/tagout procedures, and ensure all repairs comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
Collaboration & Leadership: Communicate with operators, supervisors, and fellow technicians to ensure smooth shift handoffs and coordinated repairs.
Strong troubleshooting ability across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems

Requirements
Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
Solid background in multi-craft maintenance (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems)
Experience reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints
Working knowledge of gearboxes, motors, pumps, air compressors, and drive systems
Ability to safely use industrial tools (hand, pneumatic, and shop machinery)
Understanding of steam systems and boiler operations preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Must be willing to work a 12-hour rotating night shift schedule

Responsibilities
The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources. The RN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as a part of the responsibility of their role.
This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Holders of F1 status eligible for post-completion OPT are welcome to apply. This role is NOT eligible to participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. Qualifications
Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.

Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.

BASIC PURPOSE:
- Create detailed cost estimates for the creation of customer quotations for injection mold tooling, injection molded products, and value added assemblies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Estimating & Quoting
o Prepare detailed cost estimates for injection molded parts, including:
Tooling (new molds, modifications, transfers)
Piece-part pricing
Secondary operations (assembly, pad printing, ultrasonic welding, etc.)
o Analyze customer RFQs, drawings, CAD models, and specifications
o Develop pricing based on material costs, cycle time, press size, labor, overhead, and margin targets
o Support quick-turn and formal quote requests
- Engineering & Technical Analysis
o Review part designs for manufacturability (DFM)
o Estimate mold complexity, cavitation, hot runner vs. cold runner, and tooling lead times
o Recommend process assumptions, material alternatives, and cost-reduction opportunities
o Collaborate with tooling vendors and internal mold design teams
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work with sales to clarify customer requirements and pricing strategy
o Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, and supply chain teams to validate assumptions
o Support customer technical discussions as needed
- Cost Management & Data Accuracy
o Maintain estimating models, cost databases, and historical pricing

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- 3+ years of experience in injection molding estimating, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials, and tooling
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models
- Proficiency with Excel and estimating or ERP systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience estimating multi-cavity, hot runner, or high-volume production tools
- Familiarity with automotive, medical, consumer, or industrial molded products
- Experience working with domestic and offshore tooling suppliers

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $17.12per hour - $27.73per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidates experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
