The Role We Want You For

Clayco is seeking our next great Superintendent for our national Mission Critical Business Unit. In this role you will provide on-site supervision and quality control for field operations and onsite management of design/build construction projects. The person in this role also reviews documents, responds to scope modification evaluations during construction, and works to complete Clayco projects with respect to Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost objectives. The Superintendent will observe work in the field and compares to drawings to ensure installations are in accordance with drawings and specifications. You will work closely with clients and as part of a team to provide the best solutions on design-build projects valued anywhere from a $20 million to over $200 million.

The Specifics of the Role

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and all other project site management team members to assure that the there is always adequate project resources.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints.

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels.
• 5-10 years of experience in highly technical commercial/industrial construction management, on projects of 50+ million, ideally with design-build experience.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.

The Role We Want You For

Ventana is currently seeking a Cost Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be assisting in the development and management of the project financial strategy. You will be working directly with the project management team (Direct report to Director of Cost Management) to manage the project budget, costs, change orders, billings and forecasts. You will be responsible for generating and maintaining reports that provide information to different groups, work with the management team to identify variances, risks and maintain quality control processes to improve project cost procedures and ensuring conformity with management's strategy.

The Specifics of the Role

• Works with all project disciplines to ensure understanding of total project cost budget allowances and targets.
• Review project documents and specifications to accurately identify, develop and track request of change orders (General Contractor related), baseline estimates, potential risk exposures while communicating potential impacts to the financial targets, schedule and overall project management process.
• Works closely with the accounting department to ensure the correct integration of all information needed to ensure accuracy in billings, payment applications, change orders, direct cost, labor cost, etc.
• Works closely with the project management team, executive management personnel, subcontractors, as well as occasional contact with clients.
• Responsible for cost engineering, cost estimation, cost analysis, and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for proposal estimating activities which require a moderate degree of technical skill and experience.
• Ensuring quality, accuracy, consistency, spend profile, performing change management, and transparency in all cost management deliverables.
• Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the cost and forecast reporting

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management Degree
• Minimum of 2 years in the construction industry
• Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, project controls and construction execution practices is required.
• Working knowledge of applicable computer software such as PMWeb or similar project portfolio management software, dataServ, excel, JDE, Microsoft Bi Variance, etc.
• Effective problem-solving skills.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an AutoCAD Drafter located in the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene area. The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and architectural schematics, as well as collaborating with the engineering and installation teams to ensure project specifications are met. The role involves reviewing project requirements, preparing detailed drawings for various perimeter security systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The candidate will be able to modify and create designs for new projects. The candidate for this role will need to be detail-oriented and an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

- Drafting/designing commercial, federal, and residential projects, proficient in steel applications.

- Work with Sales team and Project Management personnel to coordinate requested assignments.

- Familiarity with the application of building codes and specifications.

- Create working drawings, models, layouts, and BOM utilizing AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.

- Ability to work designs from detail to assembly to installation and liaison support all phases.

- Create custom product drawings from sketches and customer specifications.

- Perform revisions of drawings based on engineering changes.

The Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of ground-up student housing development projects, from site identification and underwriting through entitlements, design, financing, construction, and delivery. The Role We Want You For

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout within the Life Sciences/Biotech/Pharmaceuticals sector. You will provide high level support to the project staff to ensure quality and timely execution of design-build projects from design to completion. These phases include: Scheduling, subcontractor buyout, cost reporting, preparation of subcontracts, the handling of owner coordination, construction quality oversight, and project closeout. You may run smaller projects on your own, mentor Project Engineers, Summer Construction Interns, and take on the additional responsibilities to become a Project Manager.

The Specifics of the Role

• Participate with project team and preconstruction services in development of a Project Chart of Accounts.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan.
• Assist Superintendent in the management of subcontractors.
• Maintain understanding of the Clayco/Owner contract.
• Oversee the submittal, change order, and pay request process.
• Assist in generation of project costs and Job Cost Report.
• Contribute to the analyzing and forecast of quarterly Total Cost Projection reports.
• Monitor and record training of all staff personnel.
• Monitor project labor.
• Report and track equipment needs.
• Assist preconstruction services in bidding projects.
• Implement applicable safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs.
• Participate in the project’s quality process.
• Contribute to schedule and project close-out processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
• 3-7 years of experience managing construction projects ($5+ million) ideally design-build.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Previous experience leading a successful project management team.
• Ability to walk a job site, climb ladders, and scale multi-floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects of at least 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities: 

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead and motivate a team of technicians on restoration projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with leadership, customer communication, and job documentation. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong people skills who can balance quality, speed, and customer satisfaction while setting the standard for the crew. You will also: 

•  Direct daily field operations, ensuring crew members follow proper procedures and safety standards.

•  Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, answering questions and setting expectations throughout the restoration process.
•  Accurately complete job files, including daily logs, photos, and scope details in SERVPRO systems.
•  Inspect work performed by technicians to ensure it meets SERVPRO’s high standards and industry guidelines.
•  Coach, support, and develop crew members to improve skills and efficiency.
•  Oversee the setup, use, and maintenance of equipment and ensure proper inventory of supplies.
•  Identify challenges on the job site and take proactive steps to resolve them quickly.
•  Work closely with General Manager and claims team to ensure smooth job execution and customer satisfaction.
•  Promote and enforce safe work practices on every job site.

Qualifications: 

Required: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience in restoration, construction, or a related field
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and job-tracking software
• Availability for on-call rotation, evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed

Preferred: 

• IICRC certification(s) in Water Damage Restoration, Fire/Smoke Restoration, or related areas
• Prior supervisory or lead technician experience
• Experience working with insurance adjusters or property managers
• Familiarity with SERVPRO job documentation systems (WorkCenter, DryBook, etc.)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
